It's better than getting poor painfully slowly through debasement.
Bitcoin is for people who can handle getting rich painfully slowly.

New from BitGo Research: bitcoin’s reaction to CPI surprises has grown stronger since 2020, the rate regime sets how big the move gets, and more macro traders using bitcoin to express views on inflation and policy is a likely explanation. Read the full piece by @GregCipolaro and follow for more. 👇

Tinfoil hats are easy to put on, but are you brave enough to fault people for relying on single signature hardware wallets?
Why does it feel like there’s been a coordinated attack on #bitcoin self custody?

Never go full buttcoin.
Quite a few Buttcoiners are former Bitcoiners who were too smart for their own good and convinced themselves that the project was doomed to fail because of X, Y, or Z. Don't fall into the pessimism trap. If you believe Bitcoin is antifragile then it will rise to meet any threat.

Many constructive things happening on the chart. Break of market structure - new higher high. First one we've seen in a year. Closing over the 50W SMA. Next obvious level is the high 90s. Quarterly engulfing candle. Pushing over the 2026 yearly open right now. Are we allowed to call it uptober yet? Or is that jinxing it?
Classic. The intern bullposted the top. Price is holding up compared to early summer, we need to see a higher low to really convince allocators the low is in. That August gap is still open, and it looks like the October VWAP and 50-week MA are capping things for now. Retesting the 200D SMA feels like a perfectly acceptable pull back. Add a rate hike plus bonds/oil doing their thing, and holding zero $BTC starts to feel like the risky move looking out several years. Eyes open for more treasury actions.

Since 2010, the median US home has gotten cheaper in bitcoin and gold, even as mortgage rates climbed back toward 7%. In 2010 it took over 2 million BTC to buy a median home. Today it takes under 10. Denominate in what can't be printed to understand the real value of hard assets.
