£1.012 billion taken from Manchester United, stolen directly from the club, for the Glazer debt saddled on the club. £170 million paid out in dividends.
Around £42m paid every year since the 2005 Glazer leveraged buyout - a process that is now illegal - to service their debt.

Is there a better case in football right now to fail the Ownership, Director & Senior Executive test than Manchester United?
The Independent Football Regulator can issue a formal order to enforce the sale of a football club. How can they possibly be deemed competent?

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Barry Murphy, aged 86.
An iconic full-back who was our record-appearance holder with 569 games for the Reds.
Barry was a true Barnsley legend.
We will truly miss you, Barry.
Once a Red, Always a Red. ❤️
Remember what I pointed out about @TheIFROfficial👇
The Burnham Gang want to ensure "you will own nothing and be happy"
Meanwhile, Govt targets the Little Guy but still no word of HMRC/@UKSFO moving in on The Cheats + their industrial-scale sham contracts & false accounting 🙄
Whatever's going on with The Cheats, beware the media manipulation at play - @TheIFROfficial is a Trojan Horse for wider Govt-imposed property confiscation orders
The Establishment actors behind it (incl Burnham/Neville/Mervyn King) would never do a tap for average football fans

Government forecast costs of their new Football Regulator to be between £77m and £106m over 10 years.
Set up costs are estimated to be £45m. First year operating costs are more than £18m.
The IFR is clearly not the “light touch” regulator promised to clubs and Parliament.

As warned last year, clubs and fans are now left paying double for Labour’s Football Regulator.
Labour could have capped the size of its regulator, but they refused @Conservatives amendments to limit costs on clubs and fans.
And that’s before any Man City costs!
Regulator costs hit £20m a year with Premier League clubs to pay more. Operational costs over £18m with a further £2m needed for legal and set-up expenses. Basically double initial government estimates. IFL due to issue statement later today.

Andy Burnham wants to get drilling again.
But did you know that a blacklisted Israeli conglomerate has taken almost £1 billion from North Sea oil and gas profits?
Now, the settlement-linked firm looks set for ANOTHER £200 million windfall. Here’s what I’ve discovered:🧵
