Chainlink’s expansion into South Korea is gaining momentum through its partnership with LG CNS, the technology arm of LG Group. With LG CNS’s institutional expertise and Chainlink’s interoperability, data, and orchestration infrastructure, the partnership strengthens the foundation for tokenization, compliant digital assets, and globally connected onchain finance. Hyperchainlinkization xitter.cf/chainlink/status/21133…
NEW: LG CNS, the technology arm of LG Group, enters a strategic partnership with Chainlink to advance Korea’s $68B digital asset market. LG Group is one of Korea’s largest business groups, with approximately ₩186 trillion in assets across 63 affiliates. LG CNS is the lead contractor for the Bank of Korea’s flagship digital currency initiative, Project Hangang. Through the partnership, LG CNS and Chainlink will: • Enhance LG CNS’s digital asset platform solution with Chainlink’s cross-chain, data, and orchestration infrastructure • Collaborate on digital asset solutions for Korean institutions using the full Chainlink platform • Advance the next generation of technical standards underpinning Korea’s digital asset economy The partnership is built for one of the world’s most active and technologically advanced digital asset markets. Korea is Asia's second-largest digital asset market, with the Korean won consistently ranking second in crypto trading volume, behind only the U.S. dollar. By combining LG CNS’s institutional expertise with Chainlink technology standards, the partnership establishes the foundation for compliant digital asset infrastructure in Korea and for global expansion.

DTCC is building its Collateral Appchain to work across multiple chains, and Chainlink is the layer that orchestrates and connects that infrastructure.
Collateral management at institutional scale needs interoperability from day one.
DTCC’s Nadine Chakar on how Chainlink enables the DTCC Collateral Appchain’s multi-chain strategy for collateral management: “This is where our partnership is really important to us because you do help us with orchestration, you do help us with tying infrastructure together” ↓

Awesome.
How small can a Java container image realistically be? Containers with Java apps have the reputation of being bloated. How true is it today? Can a typical framework-based Java REST service fit into a 50MB container? And 30MB? Watch my experiment: youtu.be/2f0LUg5_GvQ

Fantastic idea. It was amazing @gilbertsahumada
Looking for feedback for #CCIPCity or should we make #ChainlinkCity ? Here is the url: ccip-city.gilbertsahumada.wo… ps: notes token from original post, more dragons coming and music is on

What if billions in liquidity could reach your DeFi vault without you deploying it on every blockchain? That's what Chainlink CCIP Vault Adapters are unlocking. One vault. Multiple chains. Access to more capital. Here's why it matters: → Users: Access vaults across supported chains without manually bridging or switching networks. → Protocols: Expand liquidity distribution without duplicating infrastructure. → Institutions: Maintain accounting, governance, and risk controls on one chain while reaching new markets. → Developers: Connect ERC-4626 vaults across chains using Chainlink CCIP. With ecosystem participants including @aave , @Lombard_Finance , @VenusProtocol , @UTechStables, @re, @trystable @humafinance and more, this is already gaining traction. The real opportunity isn't just interoperability. It's distribution at scale. Instead of bringing every vault to every blockchain, Chainlink helps bring users and liquidity from multiple chains to one vault. One Vault. Multiple Chains. A More Connected DeFi Economy. xitter.cf/chainlink/status/21081…
Introducing CCIP Vault Adapters — one-click cross-chain deposit infra for vault providers. Accept deposits from more than 80 chains while strategy and accounting stay on one chain, powered by CCIP. Already adopted by Aave, Lombard, Maple, and more 🧵👇

This is the most important story in global finance. The technology @Chainlink built, now being used by the @DTCC, is going to radically increase the velocity of money. Citi estimates 25% of all collateral holdings are idle, earning little to no interest. The opportunity cost is about $346M per year for the average Tier 1 firm. DTCC's Collateral AppChain moves collateral from T+1 to real time, so capital works every minute, 24/7/365. The downstream effects will change finance forever. Intraday financing becomes standard. Smart contracts automate instant margin calls. Banks lend more against the same assets, funding costs fall, and liquidity deepens across every market that touches collateral. The open source nature of the technology makes it easy to adopt and compatible with existing infrastructure. Now consider the institution that waits. That cost compounds daily against competitors running at real-time speed. Settling on T+1 while the market moves to T+0 is like sending paper mail in the age of email. An increase in the velocity of capital of this magnitude will have a significant multiplier effect on financial activity. DTCC runs the rails for every stock trade in America. They plugged into Chainlink. While there are many technical names for this evolution, I like to call it Hyperchainlinkization. ⬡
DTCC AND CHAINLINK AT SIBOS 2026 DTCC's Dan Doney and @SergeyNazarov presented how @The_DTCC is collaborating with Chainlink to advance 24/7 collateral management. DTCC's Collateral AppChain provides shared infrastructure near real-time collateral management across financial markets and blockchains. “The problem being solved is the fragmentation of data, how everybody connects to move collateral and settle transactions, and the different systems that need to talk to each other but cannot do so quickly enough to allow intraday collateral movement.” - Sergey Nazarov DTCC’s Collateral AppChain will leverage the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) for orchestration between those systems and data sources, and CCIP which enables the movement of assets, value, and liquidity to and from the AppChain. "You finally have a reliable and legally binding ledger from the DTCC that everyone can rely on, just like they rely on the DTCC now. That's a very powerful thing that I think the capital markets have been waiting for, where they can't get that from just any chain because those guarantees with the DTCC are fundamentally different" Nazarov also added. The DTCC Collateral AppChain is expected to launch in Q1 2027. Presentation slides here: chn.lk/dtcc-chainlink-sibos-… Watch the full presentation ↓

DTCC + Chainlink are building a 24/7 Collateral AppChain to solve the fragmentation problem in collateral management. Shared, near real-time infrastructure. Orchestrated by CRE. Connected by CCIP. A legally binding ledger from DTCC that every market participant can rely on.

Sergey’s key points - Sibos presentation on DTCC collateral management 1. The core argument: Tokenization is taking off, but the missing piece is utility. Tokenizing assets isn’t the goal. The goal is building connectivity, platforms and systems that make tokenized assets more useful than their traditional-finance equivalents. 2. The problem: Fragmentation. Data, systems and connections between asset managers, prime brokers, clearinghouses and securities lenders are siloed. That makes intraday collateral movement impossible, let alone 24/7/365 movement, which creates risk and lowers yield. 3. The solution (what’s been built): - @The_DTCC Collateral AppChain: a regulated, secure, legally enforceable settlement layer with DTCC-level reliability and risk management. - @chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE): orchestrates the different systems and data sources. - CCIP (Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol): moves assets, value and liquidity between the AppChain and public chains. - Synchronization runs 24/7, not over multiple days or waiting until Monday after a weekend. 4. Benefits for financial markets: - Intraday collateral management at minimum, ideally 24/7/365 - Better balance sheet management: move risk and assets where you want them, optimize yield and risk at any time - Lower risk means lower funding costs: billions saved for large institutions, hundreds of millions for small and mid-sized ones - Liquidity flows efficiently across blockchains via CCIP - Risk automation through smart contracts (real-time controls, avoiding liquidations). In a 24/7 market, risk systems must run 24/7 too, and they’ll be better for it 5. Cost of adoption: Integration and maintenance costs today are high. Sergey says this approach cuts them to a small fraction, which will speed up adoption faster than people expect.
