Hot take that will satisfy nobody: Video games are categorically not art. The extremely limited pool of games people cite to disprove this is a collection of exceptions which prove the rule. Games are toys and there's nothing wrong with that.

Look here you god damn larper. The lore after 2 sucks and is irrelevant. Sephiroth (and bosses equivalent in challenge) in KH is the reason for the player to actually do sudequests and get good at the game. If you think they are irrelevant to the KH experience or less relevant than an expository NPC then you are a loser who does not understand things.
