I’m gonna keep people’s names out of my mouth, but I gotta say this… Stop running as a DSA candidate if you only gonna rock with the platform when it’s convenient. You can be strategic without selling out your politics. But what you can’t do is waste people time.

At my first NYC DSA convention in 2017, I voted to endorse AOC for Congress. At the most recent one, I voted to endorse Zohran for mayor. This convention will make historic decisions that'll impact the socialist movement for years to come. Rank the me #1 and the BnR slate!

I consider myself pretty forgiving towards the reality of what leftists have to say and do to succeed in electoral politics but I do think answering “no” to “are you a capitalist” is the actual bare minimum for if you want to be running as a socialist?
