The entire PUA modality is completely outdated. Its made for being a 6-6.5 guy who was in college when Obongo got elected and was maybe a little awkward and needed help being confident. The concept of having roommates as an adult, let alone 4 of them, to share a 1600 sqft apartment is totally alien to me. I would rather just not live there.
San Francisco: People say it's unaffordable.
But that's not true for anyone with a full-time job.
Not far from downtown SF, within walking distance of BART, with a beautiful view, five people could comfortably share this place for $1k/month per person.
That's $12k/year per person. Working full time at minimum wage yields over $40k/year.
So if anyone tells you SF is not affordable, the truth is they feel entitled to have a place with no roommates, or that they don't want a full-time job.
Just about anyone can make it work if they're willing to compromise a bit.
They performed *ok* in combat. Soldiers didnt like them because they're heavy and not good as pry tools or utility blades, in WW2 Marine Raiders switched to traditional Fairbairn-Sykes style daggers, some Airborne guys used them too. They look fucking awesome though lol.
