We believe that the West can awaken from its long slumber – and rekindle the fire that was first lit in ancient Greece millennia ago.

Suppose that once a week, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to £100.
If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay £1.
The sixth would pay £3.
The seventh would pay £7.
The eighth would pay £12.
The ninth would pay £18.
And the tenth man (the richest) would pay £59.
So, that’s what they decided to do.
The ten men drank in the bar every week and seemed quite happy with the arrangement until, one day, the owner caused them a little problem.
“Since you are all such good customers,” he said, “I’m going to reduce the cost of your weekly beer by £20.”
Drinks for the ten men would now cost just £80.
The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes.
So the first four men were unaffected.
They would still drink for free but what about the other six men?
The paying customers? How could they divide the £20 windfall so that everyone would get his fair share?
They realized that £20 divided by six is £3.33, but if they subtracted that from everybody’s share then not only would the first four men still be drinking for free but the fifth and sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.
So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fairer to reduce each man’s bill by a higher percentage.
They decided to follow the principle of the tax system they had been using and he proceeded to work out the amounts he suggested that each should now pay.
And so, the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (a 100% saving).
The sixth man now paid £2 instead of £3 (a 33% saving).
The seventh man now paid £5 instead of £7 (a 28% saving).
The eighth man now paid £9 instead of £12 (a 25% saving).
The ninth man now paid £14 instead of £18 (a 22% saving).
And the tenth man now paid £49 instead of £59 (a 16% saving).
Each of the last six was better off than before with the first four continuing to drink for free.
But, once outside the bar, the men began to compare their savings. “I only got £1 out of the £20 saving,” declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man, “but he got £10!“
“Yeah, that’s right,” exclaimed the fifth man. “I only saved a £1 too. It’s unfair that he got ten times more benefit than me!”
“That’s true!” shouted the seventh man. “Why should he get £10 back, when I only got £2? The wealthy get all the breaks!”
“Wait a minute,” yelled the first four men in unison, “we didn’t get anything at all. This new tax system exploits the poor!”
The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.
The next week the tenth man didn’t show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had their beers without him.
But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important – they didn’t have enough money between all of them to pay for even half of the bill!
And that’s how it works.
Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy and they just might not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas, where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.
For those who understand, no explanation is needed.
For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

If one immigrates to any given country, they must respect the laws and culture of that country and contribute to that country to the best of their ability, doing no harm.
That applies to ALL countries.

The real story behind the Southport murders of these 3 little girls and how @Keir_Starmer played a critical role in it.
This is the real reason why it's being suppressed all over the UK and why even MPs are scared to talk about it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The key claim is that Starmer represented a Rwandan male suspected of genocide in R(Q)vSSHD. The only Rwandan claimant in the case was a 42 year old woman & survivor of multiple rapes. See paragraph 30: bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/….

- sending humans to mars
- one of the best diablo player in the world
- saved freedom of speech
- fixed US election & defacto a shadow president
- pushed the world toward electric future
- made reusable rockets
- fixed blind people with neura implant so that they can see
- turned paralyzed into cyborg
- fixed traffic with underground tunnels
- created the only free social media that gave the voice to anyone with good ideas despite the location or color of the skin
- on the path to spread internet access to every tiny village and remote location in the world
- making robots who will triple the world gdp
- made self driving vehicles
- built the biggest AI cluster and making non biased AI model
- has 12 children
Elon Musk is now officially the greatest human that has ever lived.

business school should be a year of v0, cursor, replit, claude prompting, design 101, finance 101, how to find startup ideas and 3 years of how to hack distribution.
you can't graduate unless one of your products gets 100 customers and you go viral.
i'm sorry.

I think living in cities is good when you need to get shit done.
Some people say they are more productive when at peace and in nature.
I think that's false
I have been living in Chiang Mai for one year and now just moved to Bangkok.
It's hard to describe the feeling I have now. I feel everything is possible and my dreams are bigger.
It's due to the fact of seeing more wealth, skyscrapers, everybody busy that edges you to keep going and move quicker, dream bigger.
Sure maybe not great for your mental health, but if you need to get shit done. Move to a city.

Will Gemini replace programmers?
With the new Gemini models released by google comes something very interesting.
Alpha Code 2 (from Google deepmind) beat 85% of competitors on the Codeforces platform by solving 43% of the most recent challenges (8000 participants).
These challenges are very hard and GPT4 solves 0 when tested on this benchmark.
This is crazy, basically Alphacode is now better that 85% of all programmers if you are to trust the extrapolations.
Now what does this mean? Is programming dead?
Well while its really good, at the moment Alpha Code 2 is stupidly resource intensive.
Basically it takes lots of different variations of the new Gemini model, generates thousands of code samples for the same questions, filters out all the ones that don't compute etc.. Then clusters the code samples and uses gemini to rank each, picking the best ranked code out of the top 10 biggest clusters.
Still with me? Yea I know its a bit complex just to generate some code.
So while it is super good, as you can see by the above process its going to be a while until it comes to your IDE in a Copilot kind of way.

Only downside of being a digital nomad is actually living in really great places.
There is just so much to do and to see that it's always a push to get loads of work done sometimes 😂
I actually think if you want to be productive you need to go the the most boring place with nothing on.
Like go find somewhere with few people, good internet and no natural beauty. Maybe I should try moving to leeds or something 😆

Is AI killing SaaS?
The AI landscape is changing the world of SaaS dramatically.
We get hired every week to build automations that solve problems for clients, we effectively build mini custom SaaS products on a weekly basis, for a market of 1.
But, at any point we're in a position to take what we've built and turn it into productized SaaS.
A few years ago, to get a SaaS product off the ground, it would have taken funding, multiple founders and a team of expert developers to even begin.
Now, with AI, it's possible to build SaaS with considerably less resources and time, roll them out, and find and reach your market rapidly.
And that's what's so exciting About. Right. Now.
