Your Evil Twin

I've seen every episode of this piece of shit, thus far. To all the people crying 'woke' shut the fuck up. Fuck the culture war bullshit. This show, on it's own merits, as it's own standalone content, has ZERO redeeming qualities. Anyone who says this shit is good, is either 'watching' it as second screen fodder, or is a late zoomer, older gen alpha who's grown up watching YouTube kids slop. This show is awful in every conceivable way. Hell, even removing it from the ATLA, and ATLOK, on it's own, it is like watching nothing. Generic art style, awful to barely passable animation, a boring soundtrack (who's 'good' points, are only when they use pieces of the ATLA's soundtrack.) It's impossible to get invested in the world due to every character having differing flavors of the quirk chungus California character archetype. The 'plot' barely even exists, and falls flat due in large part, again to the supporting aspects failing to immerse you in the world. (Ie, the voice-acting, the drawings that are supposed to convey emotion, the writing of the dialogue itself.) It is an awfully made product, in which every single aspect of it screams 'amateur'. There is no real vision with it. It's a by the books, safe, generic fantasy show that treats the audience like they're watching Dora the Explorer with how often the characters yells exactly what's happening on screen, out loud, so you can know what's happening while you doomscroll on your phone. I have no idea how so many people seem to enjoy media that treats you, the viewer, as if you were a braindead, knuckle scraping retard but if this trend continues, more and more media will just turn into various shades of unwatchable slop to anyone who ACTUALLY watches TV and movies to experience it, rather than just vaguely playing it on your living room television.
