Viewing recommendation: A simple concept yet intricate and compelling French film called ‘Nothing to Hide’. (You can find it on Netflix) #doyourselfafavour

Can we just take a moment to fully appreciate Alison Brie. How long must we wait for season 3 of Glow?

I am so privileged to be surrounded by artists who give other artists opportunities - not because they have to but because they are genuinely interested in the development of that artist. [That's how networking should be...am I right???]

To this day, finishing a book that I absolutely love breaks my heart in a way that I cannot describe. It feels as though I am mourning for people and for a world that I loved so dearly.

There's a phenomenon going round Pretoria where when it rains people suddenly forget how to drive or follow ANY road regulations. It's the strangest thing. -_-

Me trying to eat popcorn in "A Quiet Place"... actually no, it's me trying to breath in "A Quiet Place".

Security guards in JHB are either the most helpful or the least. There's no in-between.

Watched "The Leisure Seeker" last night. The film had 4 screenwriters and I've come to understand the saying "Too many cooks spoil the broth"

I finished a viewing of "Annihilation". two days ago and am still processing but would like to reiterate what @FilmCritHULK said in his review: "this film has some of the most intense and haunting imagery that I can remember in recent film."

I've a question that I've been struggling with: How much can an artist use their own experiences before alienating and exposing the people who were involved to the imposing and obtrusive eye of an audience.
I've come to wonder how often we assume the truths of others are, to them, any less true or noble than ours are to us.

It's been two weeks since I watched #BlackPanther & I still have goosebumps. So when people tell me: "I don't understand the hype around the film" my first reaction is anger then dissapointment & then I'm so sad that I walk away. If you don't understand by now, you'll never.

So I'm spending my valentines day in Vienna, Austria: the birth city of Sigmunt Freud. How appropriate.

Watched #MollysGame, Aaron Sorkin's directorial debut, last night and even though I didn't understand the poker lingo, I thoroughly enjoyed the film. Great cast and intriguing true story.

When I watch a series like "The End of the F***ing World", I am reminded about why I decided to join the Entertainment Industry. I am completely and utterly in love with the art of storytelling and will one day, mark my words, create a film/series as compelling as this one.
