Recording with Brandywine Baroque in USA this week. First up, a programme of 18th-century song centred around the artist Gainsborough. Gainsborough enjoyed socialising with musicians so much that one night out could render him unfit to paint for a week!

The best thing about location recording is working in buildings with thrilling acoustics. We spent last week working in St Augustine's, Kilburn, a masterpiece of architect John Loughborough Pearson, recording the choral music of Richard Lambert.

One week until the launch of two new volumes of music for cello and piano, arranged by Kathy and David Blackwell, published by @OUPMusic. We produced recordings of duo and piano-only versions of all of the pieces, all of which are included with the books.

Ken had an excellent few days at @WyastoneStudio, recording Sadie Harrison’s new repertoire for single-handed pianists. This unique project is supported by @ace_national and @PRSFoundation.
