this is incredible. for the first time ever, JPMorgan put out an actual long-term Bitcoin forecast, and it's strong af: they expect Bitcoin to be the single best performing asset class in their entire outlook, projecting a 10% compound annual return over the next decade. that's way above US stocks (7.5%), REITs (8.2%) and gold (5.5%). at 10% a year, that puts BTC around $386k by the back end of their window. the fact that one of Bitcoin's most infamous skeptics has now turned into a long-term bull speaks volumes if you ask me.

Before a patient walks in for their scan, someone makes sure the machine is ready by checking calibrations, testing components, and catching small issues before they become big problems. That's what preventive maintenance is really about. It's not flashy. But it's absolutely critical. We recently did exactly that. A full preventive maintenance check on a CT scanner.

Another wonderful speaker, @sshshln , gave a session on hypothesis, validation, and scientific discovery. She explained Episteme in detail and how it supports the process of forming, testing, and validating scientific ideas in a more structured way. A key part of her session was a live demo showing how hypothesis forecasting works, walking through how researchers can predict, test, and refine ideas before full scale research begins. She focused on how tools like this can improve the speed and accuracy of scientific discovery within DeSci.

We had another strong session with @mariafreitasPhD , who spoke on ethics, privacy, and responsible innovation in DeSci. She summarized her talk in four words: Creative, Limitless, Permissionless, Responsible. She also introduced an ethics check built around three key questions: 1. Who is harmed if it goes wrong? 2. Who is excluded by design? 3. What happens to the data when the project finishes? She ended the session by thoughtfully answering questions from participants, bringing clarity to how ethics should guide innovation in DeSci.

What an incredible way to kick off the DeSciBridge bootcamp with @bobbydaniel_ breaking down DeSci in this amazing opening session.
Currently in our ongoing DeSci Bootcamp, @bobbydaniel_ is explaining what Decentralized Science (DeSci) really means and why it matters. He started by breaking down Web3 and blockchain technology, then explained the major problems in traditional science like limited funding, centralized publishing, and lack of transparency. He also shared how DeSci is solving these problems through decentralized communities, DAOs, and open collaboration. The session also highlighted different DeSci projects and ways anyone can become part of the ecosystem, even without a science background. Join the session here: meet.google.com/xgb-jrrq-eax
