BIG TRUTH about Annie Andrews:
"Her primary job was serving as a paid gun control activist trying to gut our Second Amendment rights and take your guns."
In Nevada, there are three candidates running for governor. One, Danielle Ford, is running w/o a party affiliation. Ford happens to share the last name of the Democrat on the ticket, Aaron Ford.
Different from Alaska, in that it's not the first name that's shared, too.
However...
Danielle Ford is being boosted by a mysterious PAC. That PAC has ties to Republicans. It's office is "a mailbox office rental company in the same commercial complex as" the Republican in the race: Gov. Joe Lombardo.
Is this Alaska-like? Maybe. Maybe not. A shared office space doesn't necessarily mean coordination. But it's certainly interesting.
Does it show that these shady things happen all over the place, yeah. And there's plenty more examples, too.

Reported nowhere in the NYT.
Massive midterm con in the super-close Nevada gov race — GOP is propping up third-party spoiler candidate Danielle Ford to siphon votes from surging Dem candidate, @AaronDFordNV. They’re falsely implying she’s endorsed by AOC in mailers and Snapchat ads.

Republicans running a second "Ford" for Governor in Nevada. This Ford also has a fake endorsement from AOC. Why isn't the New York times all over this?

Republicans have been in charge of Texas for 30 years. Their whole campaign is just "Vote for us so we can fix everything that is broken in Texas."
This is the story across the Redneck States.

These last 10 years have revealed just how many American Christians read the Bible, go to church, recite creeds, sing worship songs, and pray regularly all while completely turning their backs on the Way of Jesus.
Calling yourself a Christian doesn’t make you Christlike.
As Jesus said, “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” - Matthew 15:9

A US firm buying a Canadian firm for the express purpose (whether stated or not) of reducing competition in their US market is the very definition of bad faith and misrepresentation.
Also less politely called fraud. Agreeing to maintain jobs while actually planning to close it.

Courts dismissed or rejected over 60 related lawsuits for lack of evidence. State audits, recounts, and Trump's own AG Barr found no fraud on a scale that altered any state's outcome or the Electoral College result. Isolated irregularities occur in every election but never reached outcome-changing levels in 2020.

NOTE: Knowingly telling people the wrong Election Day to prevent them from voting can be a criminal offense, potentially a felony under both federal and state law.

I am troubled by Trump.
But I’m even more troubled by the Christians who support him.
Trump has turned the 7 deadly sins into a way of life.
Follow Jesus not Trump.

I’m still amazed at how Donald Trump told his supporters that they are too poor and broke to afford Mar-a-Lago and the idiots clapped.

Just a reminder, John F. Kennedy won his first race for Congress by recruiting a janitor with the same name of the incumbent to run for office. This is an old trick, and a dirty trick, but it’s by no means unprecedented.

Pierre Poilievre has started saying "debt is out of control".
Governments do need to be careful about the debt they bring on.
But here's some important context as Canada diversifies trade, builds big and supports affordability.

You go to a Trump rally and hear about Trump, Trump's enemies, and Trump's grievances. You go to an Obama rally and hear about democracy, healthcare, and the future of the country. The contrast is something else.

Obama: "I am the father of two daughters. Do you think I could have survived their childhood without going to the Cheesecake Factory? I lived at Chuck E. Cheese and the Cheesecake Factory. Of course the real problem is prices have gotten so high a lot of folks can barely afford to go out to eat."

Before the Republicans try to clutch pearls, reminder:
The Republican Senate fund backed a PAC to fund a Dem candidate and a Green Party candidate to try and crowd out Peltola.
So if you think it’s illegal, then we also have to go after the Republican Senators.
Take your pick.
We've got the first donor disclosure for Fair Deal Alaska, which spent against Mary Peltola in the #AKSEN primary, while boosting a lesser-known Dem and a Green Party candidate
It was primarily funded by the Senate Leadership Fund (R)

There is no excuse for standing with a child abuser. Dan Sullivan didn’t just stand with Cathy Tilton after learning she was a child sex offender – he gave her a place in his campaign.
Alaskans deserve a senator who stands with survivors, not predators.
