There will always be people who challenge if you're smart or what you do matters, and if you start questioning yourself every time somebody else does, you’re wasting a lot of time you could be spending getting things done.

Throwback to one year ago when I made Reddit’s stock fall 😂
Jokes aside this sudden new ChatGPT citation drop that happened a few days ago will probably reverse soon just like it did last time.
But over the long term I think it’s inevitable that all AI search tools will give less relevance to platforms with user generated content. They’re too easy to manipulate.
If I had to guess I’d say the strongest signal that correlates with being mentioned by AI is probably going to be repeated mentions by the press and/or authoritative sites in your niche.
Sooner or later digital PR is going to make a comeback.
