apple.news/AW5gy6NfBRdCVvS_W… this from a president who campaigned on ending the Russia-Ukraine war on “day one, possibly even before Inauguration Day”. I assume he abandoned the peace prize ambitions?
I remain baffled with the logic of illegal alien voting. Do some believe there are people in America that don’t think it is important to get citizenship but for some reason feel motivated to vote? Is that what some believe? And that there are enough of these votes to alter a national or state wide election? Convince me.
Steve Bannon clashes with @ChrisCuomo on whether he'll accept the results of the midterm elections: “Let's have the election first.” #HaveYourSay

In my book How Countries Go Broke: The Big Cycle, I laid out in detail the classic mechanical dynamic that serves as a template to explain how countries go broke, and I gave my projections for what would likely happen so that one could compare both of those with what is actually happening. My hope was that doing so would help people understand what is happening and anticipate what would likely happen and would motivate policy makers to make beneficial changes.
Since June 2025 when I published that book, the progression of the actual numbers and the bond market has been broadly consistent with the template and projections. Because of the seriousness of what is happening, I am compelled to lay it out again by conveying the linkages and the numbers, which I have done in my latest article. As always, I welcome your questions and thoughts.
How cool is this?!! Have never seen anyone do this. Also never saw anyone have more fun singing our national anthem. Go Cats!!!
aje.news/vygcag the US response to this escalation will determine how endless our endless war with Iran will be?
Difficult to keep up with. So mail in voting is now reliably safe and secure? At least enough that the biggest critic can now recommend it? The reforms needed are in place that quickly? Mighty impressive Mr President. He can tighten up mail in voting in 50 states in two weeks?? Now how about the reflecting pool? At some point he will need to address Russia-Ukraine, Iran, and the Epstein files. xitter.cf/DougWahl1/status/21065…
Does it get any better for democrats than having the President on the campaign trail every day for the next month. The administration’s bet is this is the best way to address affordability.
washingtonpost.com/style/202…. After the reflecting pool and ballroom debacles, perhaps the president’s contractor’s license should be revoked? Maybe refocus and get the Ukraine-Russia peace agreement he promised us Day1?
Pres Trump asked his Dallas convention crowd to “pretend “ he is on the ballot this fall. Because he lives in a predominantly pretend world that was a natural and honest request. I suspect that given his approval ratings, high consumer prices and sharply lower consumer confidence, voters will not need a reminder from the president. How many republican candidates saw their political lives flash before their eyes this week?
From a story re new golf course in DC. Sounds like a full embrace of socialism is good policy to get affordable golf. Maybe try it for some other critical social needs? An image unveiled in May by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum showed an 18-hole course that he said would deliver “championship-quality golf at affordable, highly discounted rates.”apple.news/A2KxWmLreRSaI8CpB…
