Ending my Twitter hiatus for a quick name change and to share a special plant filled moment with friends and colleagues
Made my day: a travelling friend (painted turtle) stumbled upon my dads doorstep this morning. I sent them on their merry way back towards the river.

Taking my last steps on the McFadden family farm - a place that has filled my life with so much joy, love, learning, and chicken eggs.

Leave Twitter just because it’s fallen into disrepair under terrible leadership? Babe, I’m in academia.
My obsession with this stout roast is reaching new levels and so is my heart rate as I demolish my fourth cup 😋
I was crushed/sobbed all week after getting rejected for another big scholarship app. Then I got an email this morning from the grad office offering me an OGS (originally was waitlisted). Small, v happy victories!
But also academia u r still so cut throat and I'm a big baby ok🥲
Apparently I’m moonlighting as a Zotero and ResearchRabbit spokesperson and tutorial instructor now 📚
