Hops donated by @MCRHopProject @BeerNouveau planted up! Hopefully these become absolute giants @NQGrowboxes 🙌 🍻
Managed to find the 8 year old dahlia’s tubers in the @NQGrowboxes compost bin (glove for scale)! New growth on it so fingers crossed that it isn’t too damaged! Hopefully it’ll be back to its full glory in a few years 🙂
Seems somebody decided to dig over box 10. Might have looked unkempt but they’ve destroyed a 7/8 year old gorgeous dahlia, all of my cardoons, fennel, sorrel, lovage, salad bernet and more. Beyond fuming.

Found this Forest Cuckoo Bee hanging out by the side of @boxnumberten. As the name suggests Cuckoo Bees take over the nests of other bumblebees, laying their own eggs to be brought up by the workers in the nest #bees

The Large Yellow-Face bees have returned to @NQGrowboxes! These little bees are a Nationally Scarce species, so it's great to see them doing so well here #bees

Red Mason #bees have emerged at @NQGrowboxes! My garden ones can't be too far behind. Found this guy soaking up warmth from the side of @boxnumberten when the clouds went in.
The grow box is falling apart so badly after the terrible winter. Need a few railway sleepers or something. Maybe I could patch it up with old wooden crates? 😫
