OUR BIGGEST PROBLEM AS HUMANS IS THE FAILURE TO ACCEPT REJECTION.‼️‼️ One of the hardest lessons in life is understanding that not everyone will choose you, support you, love you or see your value. And that is perfectly fine. Sometimes, we take rejection personally because we believe our intentions, efforts and sacrifices should automatically earn us acceptance. Unfortunately, life does not work that way. Someone can reject you and still be a good person. Someone can turn you down without being your enemy. And someone can walk away from you without diminishing your worth. The problem begins when we allow rejection to feed our ego, turn us bitter or make us desperate to prove a point. We start chasing people who have made their decisions, forcing relationships that have run their course and seeking validation from people who have already shown us where we stand. Maturity is understanding that rejection is not always an insult but sometimes, it is simply a difference in preference, direction or purpose. Learn to accept it with grace. Don't beg for a seat at a table where you are not wanted. Don't destroy your peace trying to convince someone of your worth. Keep growing, keep improving and keep moving. Not every door is meant to open for you and not every person is meant to walk your journey with you. Sometimes, the greatest demonstration of self-respect is knowing when to walk away. Be guided ❤️
