Billion Pixels - Summer 2025

The Million Dollar Homepage emerged in 2005 as a revolutionary experiment in digital real estate, offering anyone the chance to purchase and customize pixels on a single webpage. This innovative platform became an emblem of early internet creativity and a unique time capsule of its era. Two decades later, blockchain technology has transformed our understanding of digital ownership. Building on this foundation, Billion Pixels reimagines the Million Dollar Homepage concept for the blockchain era. Unlike its predecessor, Billion Pixels connects each pixel directly to users' digital wallets, creating verifiable ownership on the blockchain. This platform isn't just a static canvas—it's a dynamic, community-driven artwork where each participant owns and shapes their piece of the whole. By combining the participatory spirit of the original project with blockchain technology's capabilities, Billion Pixels offers a new way to make your mark on digital history. Join us in creating this collaborative masterpiece. What will your contribution be to the Billion Pixels canvas?
