Dallas bundling Hardy, D'Lo and Exum to shed those additional contracts and clear roster spots is such an overlooked aspect of this trade.
The extended return on this deal just makes it that much sweeter.
Santi Aldama - acquired by sending Khris BACK TO WASHINGTON via S&T and flipping the 1st they had given Dallas to Memphis (along with AJ Johnson which allowed them to keep the full AD trade exception)
Marcus Sasser - absorbed straight into Dallas' BAE this past summer, a seamless move made even easier by those open roster spots
Zaccharie Risacher - acquired via the AD trade exception that they were able to keep because they sent out AJ Johnson in addition to Middleton to meet the salary matching requirements in the Aldama deal.

In 10-15 years SGA's MVPs will be looked at the same way both Nash's MVPs are. Great player, but nowhere near a deserved 2 time MVP winner. He wouldn't be close to winning one if he didn't have a perfect roster built around him. I said it before, SGA is a great team merchant.
