Thanks so much to all the contributors! We honestly didn't expect this many submissions, and even better there are now new benchmarks as goal posts for computational models. See you at CCN in August :)

Well that should be easy!

Super excited for the 2024 Brain-Score Benchmarking Competition. Submissions will be rewarded on how much the current best models fail on them! We have been working hard to make model testing easy and I hope this competition uncovers some explanatory gaps in our models of vision

15/ These are only some of the directions we are currently exploring that stem from having brain-aligned models of machine vision (e.g. see @brain_score), so if you are a small/medium/large business or research lab and would like to work with us, also let us know!

2/4 But can't neuro up its contribution via large-scale datasets of neural responses on tasks that AI isn't yet good at? These can be either benchmarks (as in @brain_score) or as optimization targets (cool progress from Leila Wehbe @mldcmu & co using @cvnlab's NSD dataset).

Happy to share that the fantastic teamwork with @ArtDeza resulted in our new paper which shows that a Vision Transformer trained in an adversarial manner and coupled with rotation invariance achieves new SOTA in Area V4 at @brain_score competition🤯.

1/ Excited to share our new paper showing that training a Transformer adversarially with rotation invariance achieves new SOTA in Area V4 for in @brain_score ! We also scored 2nd in the aggregate competition. This epic tour-de-force was lead by @W33lliam96 openreview.net/forum?id=SOul…

I really want to see the Computer Vision/Machine Learning folks submit their models. Lots of talk in CV/ML about what "is" & "is not" biologically inspired or perceptually aligned. Brainscore goes in the right direction by literally computing a "brain score" of such models.
Announcing the first ever Brain-Score Competition brain-score.org/competition/! Submit your models before Feb 15 to compete in 33 (!) neural and behavioral benchmarks, ranging from V1 to behavior. $6,000 in prize money will be awarded to the best overall, V1, and behavior models. 1/n
