You can still be a kernel dev and be there just for the C and just care about C, see Torvalds reply: lore.kernel.org/rust-for-lin… ... also plenty of other sectors using Rust aside from crypto: filtra.io/rust/jobs-report/j…

NAND indeed (Micron MT29F1G0), here's the output from binwalk_v3 (git clone fresh from today) and also the dumped flash if you are curious: mega.nz/file/65xDmYZC#wQHG_c…
My workplace's sit-stand desk has 1,2,3 buttons to memorise positions... turns out one has to hold the button # the entire time the table goes to a saved position, total UX fail... resisting the urge to take it apart and fix it.

So... is that human doing 3000+ placements/day for those 3 @Figure_robot robots? Why don't the robots pick those pieces directly from the machine(s) they are produced from?
Glad to see an #AWS workshop based on the IGV (desktop) backend work I did years ago: catalog.us-east-1.prod.works…

TIL how ISPs remote control you via TR-069/CWMP (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TR-069): youtube.com/watch?v=4lSw42zq…
Very late to that party and super glad I finally switched to #OpenWrt and away from the ISP router.

Hmm, probably for it to not email by default?: github.com/umccr/htsget-rs/b… ... for sure there's a flag to disable those email notifications, I need to check the docs and/or examples. On crowded workspaces it can get noisy :_S
I thought: let's spend a calm afternoon coding and testing a Rust no_std project on a small #esp32s3 board waveshare.com/wiki/ESP32-S3-… ... the board's LDO (or whatever other shorted component) has other plans today :_/
.@DavidOsmond8 @dwjperry I'm curious if there's a way to see the "total capacity utilization" in percent from wind farms (in Victoria) through @OpenNem? It seems unusual (to me) that the strong winds in Victoria do not translate to higher energy generation?

Drilled a dedicated antenna hole, connected the card and no LDO/VR exploded (after carefully comparing pinouts)... time to look at userspace tooling for OpenWrt and bring it up.
Reusing 5VSB (SB=StandBy) voltage through a 3V3 LDO connected to ACDC_STBY is all that's required for the 12V (at 13amps max) to show up on the PSU output pins... 12V is ideal for home routers, no DC-DC conversions needed, goodbye wall warts.
The equivalent on the PS3 is shorting those two highlighted pins in purple, but that's not enough...
Since I don't have the rest of the console (including the ON button), I have to mimic the ATX PSU PS_ON signal trick. That is, to power it all on when the AC (220V mains) cable is connected...
