I don’t want to believe this. I hoped it was fake news. But Dawn itself confirms it: ECC just approved Rs 1.094 billion for a luxury executive jet (Lineage L-1000) for the Pakistan Army. Meanwhile, according to the WB Oct 26 report: 48% of Pakistanis — roughly 120 million people — lived below the $4.20/day poverty line in 2024. What’s missing here? Is it unpatriotic to notice the gap?
