Hey folks, we’re not active on X right now.
You can still catch our updates, live clips, and strange little stories over on Facebook & Instagram @braverthanfiction.
Stay loud, stay kind, eat the cake. 🖤
ALT AI-generated black and white noir photograph of a cake with rough frosting and a single lit candle, captured in a dimly lit room with heavy curtains. The grainy texture and deep shadows evoke a moody, cinematic, Braver than Fiction aesthetic.
This weekend it’s a different story. 💔
Six years ago today, we were opening @Tramlines 2014 at @Leadmill in Sheffield with @JOLTABAND, @CutRibbons and @weddingpresent - a grand night out and the beginning of a class weekend.

“Has anyone seen Murray?” 🧵1/2
Following our band tradition of finding lost souls, Friday night delivered.
‘Matt from Rotherham’ misplaced his pal Murray between sunny Leeds (cricket) and the darkest wilds of Sheffield (West Street at midnight).
Friday night, we’ll be at one of our favourite venues, @WestStreetLive. See you down there!

We’re returning to @Queencrafthouse this weekend, with an extended set (including a dash of new material), to keep you out of mischief for 90 minutes or so…*

Massive thanks to @MiseryPrize for sharing the @BarnsleyLive_ love over on Facebook and to @AAC0fficial for switching stage times with us. It was a grand day out - we’d do it all again, in a heartbeat! 🖤

Heading across to @BarnsleyLive_ today; we’re on at 16:30PM over at @CheCoCoBarnsley but before and after that, there are a lot of other juicy, musical morsels to savour! Spoiled for choice, really…
