Eastern Michigan Player Of The Game for yesterday:
Offense- Braydon Bennett, 9 rushes for 56 yards, and 6.2 yards per carry. Once he got going it seemed as if the offense settled in. Experienced player with P5 experience looked part and probably could have had more than 9 carries.
Defense- Jason Marshall. 13 tackles and a fumble recovery. He continues to be around the football.
Play of the game- I will go with the Noah Kim 4 yard read option touchdown late in the second quarter for Eastern Michigan’s only touchdown. EMU pulled within 7 and had outgained the Spartans in the first half.
To the start the second half, MSU would go on 13 play, 75 yard drive capped by a touchdown. EMU would fumble on the next drive and would never challenge again.
