It's not the grade. It's the IMPROVEMENT👇👇 I’m in Tallaght today with Sophia, who’s PROUD as punch showing off her results. Going from struggling to pass Maths to getting OVER 70% in her Junior Cert.... that’s every bit as impressive as 625 points. Great finish to the term!

I just had to share this 👇👇👇 This is Dhiya, our first EVER student in the UK. Before Dhiya joined Breakthrough Maths she was averaging 10% in her maths After joining Breakthrough Maths, her results improved massively and she ended up passing GCSE Maths!

We teach maths a different way. A way that works for everyone. The proof is in the pudding. Breakthrough Maths works in every country ❤️

Schools closed tomorrow ❌ Yesterday I posted about the school attendance crisis in Ireland. 1 in 5 primary school children missing over 20 days a year. And now we’re facing more school closures with the strikes.

DISCLAIMER: I support the strikes. Dead right to stand up for better pay. My point is that we have zero back up plans. Surely in 2026, learning shouldn’t stop when schools close? Why are we still so dependent on one classroom and one teacher?

I can feel all the pressure being lifted 🙌 Congratulations to everyone who got their Junior Cert results day. Can’t forget that no matter what was on that paper, it’s a huge milestone in their lives and it should be celebrated no matter what.

I’ve had messages and emails pouring in all morning with relieved parents and delighted kids. “TJ I failed the mocks but got a higher merit today! You saved my maths” These are truly special days for me ❤️

I have a lot of work to do. It’s tough going running Breakthrough Maths. But I’ve been distracted for the last half hour. I can’t stop watching Callum teach. He is infectious. Genuinely really proud of him. He gets the kids involved and explains everything so clearly.

This Sunday, I’ll be running a FREE Algebra Masterclass. It’s going to be really beneficial to your child’s maths. Algebra is the cornerstone of all maths and is crucial to getting a good result in the Junior Cert and Leaving Cert. Once the algebra clicks, the rest follows.

Delighted to see over 41% of students now choosing Higher Level Maths for the Leaving Cert. That’s up almost 250% in the last 15 years. It’s pulling ahead too as the most popular A-Level subject. It’s the building blocks of a digital future 🙌

Maths is my long term bet. Every child needs it. And too many fear it. The problem has NEVER been a lack of info. YouTube is free. It’s the human things. Starting and staying on track. Our team here in Cork are building a better way of learning Maths. Onto Year 6 of BTM 🙌

This summer is hectic. This is us at a 2-day GAA event in Manchester. Now it’s a 4 day England Hockey event Doesn’t matter if you’ve millions to spend on ads. You need your first cohort to TRUST you. Meet people. Say hello. Coffee and Ryanair The theme of our summer

I really did not expect things to change this much in the 5 years since I started Breakthrough Maths. The needs of students have changed massively, and no one is really talking about it. 🧵

I started Breakthrough Maths when tutoring was just about exams. Now it's about building confidence more than anything, giving children the support they need to take on the day. That's the truth.

I don't know what the next 5 years will look like, but students have changed, and the system needs to follow suit. Schools should be student-first. What would you change?
