From going to house parties at the “Green Monster” at @SyracuseU to learning one of the dudes who hosted those was the creator of Foursquare to competing for mayorships with my neighbors in Park Slope. Game-changing app and epic run!
Foursquare was acquired last month. The outcome was disappointing. It's taken me a while to write this, but I think I'm finally done grieving it. Here are some thoughts on our final years, an effort to honor the team who helped build & maintain FSQ's legacy, and my attempt to finally get some closure. teendrama.substack.com/p/som…

Grew up a Boston sports fan watching Steve. Living in Bay Area, my wife & I have been @valkyries fans and season ticket holders since day one. @Veronicaab22 was the player who stood out to us in game one of the franchise - and our first jersey. Amazing for the Burtons! Go Valks!
This is pretty surreal. My favorite NBA player, Steph Curry, is warming up in my daughter’s jersey. GO VALKS!!! #WBZ
Love how simple and approachable this is. Pick another protein?!?! 🥩
Well done, @scott_colom and team.
His whininess has to go back to his parents, right? I wish they had loved him.
Trump: "FoxNews spends more time covering the Jihadist and Dumocrat candidates than they do the good old fashioned Republicans, the people that have saved America, and are making it great again. All they talk about is Dumocrat Jihadists like El-Sayed, with his softball interview by Martha MacCallum, and the like. She never interviews me like that. They don’t show my record breaking Rallies the morning after, but others do, and that’s what MAGA is watching. Fox is promoting the Dumocrats, not the Republicans and MAGA. They have totally lost their way! President DJT"
Love every single thing about this story.
From @TheAthletic: Brad Lidge was one of baseball’s top closers, winning the 2008 World Series with the Phillies. When he threw his last pitch in 2012, he decided to do something incredibly rare for a former major leaguer. He became an archaeologist. nyti.ms/4yVCN63
Lifetime contract for Tolle now! Let’s get ‘er done, @RedSox.

You'd think Slim, of all people, would know the importance of responding to the people who write him letters.
I'm sorry we never got a chance to meet, but getting this note from Dolly really had a an impact on me. She definitely didn't have to take the time to do it. Even for a kid who mostly listened to rap music, she was an icon. A superstar in every sense. Rest easy Dolly. And thank you for the kind words.
