If you believe sustaining Christianity can only happen if Republicans are in power, then you worship the power of the Republican Party, not God.
Paxton: "If Christians don't vote, we're going to have trouble sustaining Christianity in this country"

Absolute insanity
🚨BREAKING: The Republican Women’s Caucus Fund has been unmasked as the force behind the fake Texas Transgender Student Union (TTSU). This Wyoming LLC, formed in September, flooded as many as 3 million Texas mailboxes and phones with texts and brochures just as early voting began for the midterms. Posing as a trans advocacy outfit, the materials—addressed to the children of registered voters—coached minors on seeking gender-affirming care even against parents’ wishes, pursuing emancipation, going out-of-state for hormones or surgery, and finding a “found family.” They copied branding from the real Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT) and used a near-identical address. Legal filings named the Republican Women’s Caucus and “John Braun”—the name of a Washington state senator whose campaign treasurer, Paul Kilgore, also handles finances for the RWC Fund and PACs supporting Ken Paxton’s Senate bid against Democrat James Talarico. TTSU’s lawyer is former Paxton assistant AG Chris Hilton. TENT sued, claiming harassment, threats, and operational harm. Judge Jan Soifer ordered disclosure, rejecting free-speech secrecy claims. So, a Republican-linked group, with financial ties to Paxton-supporting PACs, mass-produced and distributed materials that impersonated a transgender student resource guide. In other words, the people who routinely accuse the transgender community of “indoctrinating” or targeting children, themselves produced and mailed the very content designed to look like that targeting—so parents would see it and react. Every Republican accusation is a confession.

While in the courtroom, I noticed that Laura Owens didn’t seem to be paying close attention during some of Clayton Echard’s victim impact statement at sentencing. While looking back at the feed last night, I noticed the camera caught that she had her attorney pull up Clayton’s “Off The Vine” interview with @kaitlynbristowe that aired THE DAY PRIOR while Clayton was speaking. To me, that feels like a lack of consideration for Clayton’s pain and more interest in making excuses. Victims are allowed to speak to media. There was nothing there that should’ve mattered more than what Clayton was saying in that moment. He deserved a direct apology.

During sentencing of #LauraMichelleOwens we learned she attends gym TWICE A DAY while taking Ozempic injections. HER LOOK is carefully crafted & is PART OF HER SCAM: to evoke pity, empathy, compassion, and activate men’s protective instincts. Not that different from cancer scams

So happy to cast my vote for this man last week!
TALARICO: “You want to know why they are spending $200 million against me? Because I don't take their money, and I never will. I don't work for them. I work for you.”

Laura Owens is a LIFE RUINING MONSTER that got a month in jail and a deferred sentence. Clayton Echard getd his reputation smeared, life targeted, and other men had protective orders against them and their lives ruined. Some call this justice. I still call it a fucking farce

Ken Paxton’s former top cop on why he’s voting for James Talarico: I spent 2 hours with James Talarico. Number one, I saw no deception. He answered all my difficult questions. He didn’t dodge anything. He hit it head on. I have been around politicians my entire life. I served 5 governors, I’ve met 4 presidents… And James Talarico is so different than other people I’ve encountered. I think he’s the man who needs to go to Washington DC, and Ken Paxton needs to go home.

Three years ago today, Ken Paxton’s impeachment trial began in the Republican-controlled Texas Senate. He was impeached by his own party for abusing his public office to enrich himself and his donors.

The Lindsay Clancy case is a great example of how damaging social media can be when people don’t hold themselves to any sort of standard of evidence. It’s brain rot, The lack of an explanation in a random observer’s mind is not a confirmation of random theories that the husband killed the kids. What happened was HORRIBLE. Lindsay Clancy killed those kids. And her doctors acted in negligent ways regardless of whether or not you think she’s criminally responsible. Running wild with hurtful theories diminishes the pain of Lindsay, Patrick, and all the people who loved those kids who have had to come to terms with this. Creating fan fiction stories prevents people from taking her mental health issues as seriously as they should. This isn’t a comic book. Don’t be an asshole.
