Love it!
When Luka was in the 7th grade, coaches/parents told me my son should probably try out for the drama or chess club instead of basketball.
He was slow, non-athletic, in WADC league and not what AAU was looking for.
We didn’t fight the noise, we built a process. Skepticism is oxygen if you know how to breathe it in.
Over 20,000 hours of fundamentals, visualization, feedback, and relentless work through his Sr year in college; no one did more.
This article features an up and coming sports journalist highlighting the journey, mindset, setbacks, along with the parenting philosophy, and the long road most people don’t know is possible.
Thank you, @TannerJPloost

Bennett Stirtz on Iowa's character: "We're just all unselfish. We care more about winning than getting more money, things like that...We're playing (for) more than just for money or individual stuff, individual awards. We're playing for wins."

A high school basketball team won’t win championships on talent alone.
It wins because of:
- Communication on defense.
- Effort in the little things nobody notices.
- Sacrificing personal stats for the good of the team.

How ‘bout them Cowboys 🤠
AMERICA’S TEAM: THE GAMBLER AND HIS COWBOYS is now playing on @netflix
Agree 100%. I constantly remember the media saying the Cowboys have the best roster in Football. Blaming the GM for putting together a poor roster is lazy. Now blaming the GM for the goofiness that goes on with publicity. That is different and warranted.
