We demand a full investigation and accountability.

Chaotic scene as protesters and elected officials arrive on the corner of 225th and Marble Hill Rd, technically still in Upper Manhattan, where ICE shot someone this afternoon. Councilmember Carmen De La Rosa tells me the person who was shot is in the hospital. Was with a child.
The Bronx Democratic Party is proud to support @tishjames for reelection. Her office has delivered real results for our borough – from community investment to consumer protection. Let’s go Tish!
Welcome home, Rafael Rubio!
After months of unjust detention, you are finally where you belong, with your family and community. Grateful to @SpeakerMenin and all who fought tirelessly for his release.

I recently stood with @bronxdems, people of The Bronx, colleagues in government, and labor leaders to endorse my dear friend @ZohranKMamdani for Mayor!
Many of the terrible things you hear about people in politics are unfortunately true, but none of them apply to Zohran. He is truly one of the most principled people I have ever met. Even in disagreements, I have known Zohran as someone who shows up with respect, kindness, and a genuine effort to understand in every interaction. This is why I am proud to call him a friend, and to support his candidacy for Mayor of New York City. (1/2)

BP's office told me that a scheduling conflict prevented Gibson from attending the press conference but added: “She wants to clear up any confusion – she stands with the Bronx Democratic County Committee in supporting Zohran Mamdani as the Democratic Nominee for Mayor.”
