Students acting as delegates voted and then debated which plan (Virginia or New Jersey) their states would support during the Constitutional Convention. This served as our hook. The students gained insight into various states’ perspectives. @HumbleISD_ARMS @humble_SocSt
Our first Socratic Seminar went so well. Students posed and developed advanced questions regarding whether Shay’s Rebellion was justified. They also learned how to annotate in the margins using an AVID strategy. @HumbleISD_ARMS @HumbleISD_ADV @humble_SocSt
