Patch Notes from last 24 hours: Some immediately live onto platform. Some is work & fixes on upcoming features. 🤖 API + AI: - Metrics use the same names as in the app - Checking an algorithm lists every problem at once, so you can fix them all in one go. - Backtest over 1–30 days or pick custom dates. - Results show what a follower actually earns after fees, plus a check on the most recent third of the period to spot lucky results. - Run 2 backtests at once, with more queued behind them. - Save algorithms straight to your account and list the ones you've built. - See winning-token stats to help shape your rules. - Check how many backtests and saves you have left today. - Fixed errors some backtests were hitting. - Clearer error messages that say exactly what to change. - Fixed limits, units and labels on metrics. - Smoother setup page for connecting your AI app. 🚧 Algorithm Builder - New Data Coverage panel: see how far back each metric goes, how often it updates, its accuracy, and any known gaps. Download it all as a CSV. - Algorithms built with AI or through the API now carry a badge. - Cleaner header and marketplace cards. - Publicised internal guardrails on this page for transparency Metrics - New launch bundle metrics: - Launch Bundle SOL - Creator Bought - Supply Share - Largest Wallet - Total Token Holders now goes back to 25 Sep. - Tokens bought in a launch bundle are no longer ficlude every graduated token. Pre-Graduation Tokens - Backtests on pre-graduation tokens now go back to 14 Oct. - More complete curve data, with gaps filled in. Next update out tomorrow, specific focus on encouraging the API to avoid letting you overfit what you build and guide you in the direction of something that’d reflect your results from backtesting to reality. Additionally, implementing trading outputs into the simulations, eg various TPs, SLS etc.

Est. 60,000 - 140,000 ask AI every month for help in building crypto trading algorithms + bots. AI Discoverability is important, here's what we've done today: - Occam is now readable by AI - Claude, ChatGPT and the rest can find out what we do and recommend us. - New AI-first guides with native & healthy copywriting. "AI-SEO" if you want to call it that. - Fully indexable. Search engines and AI crawlers see everything. - Launch kit ready & approved: official MCP Registry listing, a Claude plugin and open-source examples go live the moment our AI API opens. It all adds up.

releasing this soon > appeals to gamblers > 3/4 of PF volume lies here opens the doors to algorithms being published like: "2% hitrate on 100x being hit" whereby users set $10 per buy and let it run all day, every day so much of crypto consumers are here to chase that higher multiple, not a 30% gain occasionally I overlooked that soon offering both

Okay so to run through a few things from some discussion in the lounge earlier today: API Benefits & Token Requirement: What would happen before with previous scraping of the website on your own AI tools: ❌ Breaks on site changes ❌ Could only read data, not build for you ❌ Didn't know exactly the data definitions, internal rules & ranges ❌ Unaware of hardcoded safety nets / guardrails Whereas now, in using what we're providing: ✅ No guess work, everything is precise ✅ Stays true on all upcoming site changes ✅ 1-click implementation of your design onto platform ✅ Given the 'brain' provided, Each metric comes with what it means, its units and its sensible range, so your AI writes rules that actually work the first time But most importantly... ✅ Absolutely honest and 1:1 backtest results with what's happening in reality A few more additional benefits I think are important & shouldn't be brushed over: ✅ Algorithm Creation Scaling The quantity & ease of designing has become infinitely quicker & easier. A simple prompt as "Generate and publish 5 algorithms all hitting 10% over their base rate, monitor them over the next week and come back to me in 7days with any improvements you'd make, then apply and publish" is entirely possible. The marketplace should be flooded with far more profitable options. ✅ External Attention If I go onto claude and say "I want to design a profitable algorithm for predictions markets" i'll immediately be referred to Polymarkets Clob API via the AI tool i'm using. Bringing direction traffic & volume to their platform from what I build. As it stands, there are very few/weak offerings in crypto for what we've built here. Quite quickly (especially via a few sneaky things we've done in our docs...) Occam will be pushed as the primary offering for those building automated trading bots for crypto that have no idea who we are. $OCCAM holdings for API access: It's the right direction to go, but I think it's a heavy net benefit for us to provide base access for free. For the reasons above, and to promote activity. The substantial increase in algorithms published & used will carry their weight in token demand & platform eyeball regardless. But, I think releasing this feature opens so many doors for what we can do in token holding requirements: Upsell Features; > AI Designed AutoTraders catered to each algorithm > Increased usage (more sims/day etc) > Longer backtests > Daily check-in on AutoTraders & Algorithms giving report on suggestions + 1-click improvements > 'Sniper Mode' your AI builds a rule that catches newly launched tokens in their first minutes, tests it, then drafts an AutoTrader for it. All merely discussion points for now, but lots to think about! Creating & selling the story on succesful algorithms built & traded on from the API's and future upgraded features is a dream for $OCCAM demand and isn't a hard-sell in the slightest Will share some teasers on the API/AI in action later today
Occam - Reviving the Business, Token & Excitement: Updates, effectively immediately. Let's dive into it, in this tweet we will cover: > Financials & $OCCAM token > Profiles > Metrics & Data > API & AI Compatibility > Platform Volume & Market Expansion There will be no beating around the bush here. No marketing speak, just setting the record straight. Truths & facts only. 💰 Financials & $OCCAM token: We came far too close to having to close shop, too soon after launch. Our incomings were minimal, our outgoings were very, very high. Approx $60k/mo at it's peak. Here's what I think we did wrong: > Took too long to launch, causing too much seed bloat as we required funding to build out (computational + staff - this was 16mo of consecutive outgoings, no incomings) > Requiring us to launch at too high a MCAP. > Consequently, the chart looked awful on day 1 as it came down to it's true-value price. > The first impression anyone has of a crypto project, realistically - is their chart. > The chart being ugly, put off potential users. If the chart is down only, there product won't be good. Skip. The costs were crippling post launch. But, i'm sat on a product that has had near 7-figs of spend on, that truly works and is ultimately the best automated trading platform on the market. There is a huge hole being burnt in my pocket. As much as I enjoy building it out, this is my living & full focus. It must be financially worth it to run. So... what do we do? We were sat approx 30/45 days ago with; - $30k/mo computational costs - $15k/mo staff costs Bills overdue and hosting e.g AWS being taken down. Since then; 1) Old bills have been covered by a small sale of personal equity, enough to cover outgoings. Not enough to hurt personal incentive. 2) Our aggressively high computational bills have been replaced by ones -95% lower, with no technical disadvantage. 3) Our metrics & data were previously provided by a partner. Internally, we have rewritten our own offering, with far more flexibility & customisation (more on this below...) with 85% lower costs compared to our previous billings. 4) Internal technical output (subjective) has vastly been improved Compared to our previous peak costs of $60k/month, at this current day we operate at a -90% reduction in business running costs. Giving us an incredibly sturdy & safe financial foundations, with a really healthy outlook & runway to continue building this out to see the heights it deserves to see. 🫂 Profiles: As touched on before, AWS invoices were the reason for the downtime in losing access, this included user profile details (wallets, algorithms, autotraders) This is inexcusable. Lesson learnt. Never again. Profiles are now fully recovered, 1:1. We have moved from AWS to Azure, with again, costs reduced by -90%. No technical disadvantages. You can sign back into your profiles as you could before, live now. If you notice any differences/issues let us know ASAP and i'll resolve. ⚖️ Metrics & Data: Again, as touched on before, our metrics were rewritten entirely. The change from v1 to v2 before, was our provider improving the cadence (speed) of metrics, resulting in more metrics being able to be provided. Now - there will be no v1 or v2. Only one version, Occam's Metrics. > It gives us much more flexibility. > Users metric requests can be acted on immediately. > Large cost reduction. Most importantly... The ability to offer APIs & AI Compatibility which is the key to scaling, usage & volume. In all of our tests, we saw incredibly high recall similarity from sim:real & precision rate (+99%) since our switchover on October 16th. Between Oct-16th, expect 90% In September, expect 80% Here's what it means for you. - Our own data: every metric on Occam is now computed by Occam from on-chain data with our own indexer. Nothing comes from a third-party data feed. - One catalogue: Occam Metrics are the only metrics in the builder, simulator and marketplace. The old V2 metrics are retired. Algorithms built on them are stopped and marked retired, and their owners can rebuild them on Occam Metrics. It's been a rollercoaster with the metrics & algorithms, but this'll be the last & final. They are buildable with and trustworthy right now. Live. What you are looking at, is our foundational version. We will build up from the current offering constantly. Spam us with metric requests, they'll be added. 🖥️ API & AI Compatibility: It's becoming increasingly common that people are attempting to build automated / algorithmic trading bots themselves, using AI tooling. The frequent limitations are: > Lack of actionable & useful tradable data. > The ease/platforming in executing what is built. Here's our upcoming feature offering: - Use Occam from Claude, ChatGPT or Grok - Connect with one click, or use an API key - Describe a strategy in your own words and get the rules built for you - E.g, "Build me an algorithm that caught $KIMCHI below $100k MCAP but sticks to 5 tokens per day max" - Mistakes get flagged before anything runs - Backtest on the same data live trading uses - See the numbers behind every token it picked - Review, tweak and save your algorithms from your conversation - Let AI create & publish for you directly onto the platform "Build me an algorithm that has hit a 2x 70% of the time, consistently over the last month" "How would you improve my currently published algorithm?" A few key growth points: > The hurdle on building an algorithm via the platform and learning what 100s of metrics each mean, is removed, but still available for those who wish to use this route. > There should be significant influx of profitable algorithms published on the marketplace > Our documentation is thorough & clear, with dozens of keys provided specifically to improve our 'SEO' via conversations with AI, drawing external market participants towards Occam of whom are looking to build an algorithmic trading strategy through Crypto. E.g, we'll be recommended as a solution to their problem/demand. To be concise. Both profitability & platform usage should increase substantially via a dramatic ease of use. Release = Next week. 💹 Volume & Market Expansion Tokens that haven't graduated yet, capture 3/4 of PumpFun's volume. It is also where information & data moves quickest, giving the largest upside. The large upside, that this market is particularly focussed towards. To be direct - gamblers. Admittedly, an audience I think we've been previously unappealing to with our high-brow offering. We will be releasing full compatibility to newly launched tokens, right from the first transaction. Features: - Catch tokens the moment they launch, before they graduate - 56 new metrics built specifically for brand-new launches - Switch on new launches per algorithm with one toggle - Backtest new-launch strategies like any other - New-launch calls are tagged and link straight to pump.fun - No double calls when a token graduates - Forced safety nets on +99% chance rugs, e.g dead or stalled launches skipped - Filter trading pre-graduation tokens out on an algorithm you run or build Why didn't we do this before? Truthfully, the scale of it was unbearable for our product offering. 100s of simulations on 40,000 daily tokens was too much load. What we've built now, makes it fully possible. Both with metrics being built ourselves but AI compatibility allowing the scale to be digestible. Once again, opening us up to substantially more volume & user opportunity. Release = Next week. -------- - Signals, simulator and site now run on Occam's own on-chain data - One clean metric list in the builder: Occam Metrics - Health tags show which metrics you can trust - Bot-laddered tokens kept out of signals - Risky bundled launches blocked from signals - One call per token per algorithm every 24 hours - No more burst of repeat calls at midnight - Age rules count from launch and catch fresh graduates - Cleaner builder: clearer labels, finer price precision, no dead entries - Simulator signals now match live trading - Much faster simulator, and 30-day backtests now finish - Simulating a saved algorithm is faster and closer to live - Simulator results shown after fees - Every figure labelled "before fees" or "after fees" - 1D, 7D and 30D views show only tokens launched in that window - Realistic all-time highs on algorithm pages - Fixed marketplace stats: tokens per day, averages, top market caps - Leaderboard Average X counts each signal once - Private algorithms stay private, simulations included - Wallets refuse any transaction that would move funds off your wallet - Trading, deposits and withdrawals back open - Every pre-migration account can sign in again ———- In a matter of 45 days, Occam has gone from a place of conversations happening in nearly needing to shutdown - to a financially secure, fully functional platform with all use restored & plenty of exciting features in the immediate release pipeline. Albeit a low floor, we have held substantially well for the last 45 days considering the entire market has been in downfall and the product has been unusable. We are in good stead, experienced, funded & low outgoings with a ton of rollouts ready to push. Absolute focus from here - is on marketing & platform usage. From there, follows token price activity. No plans in stopping, time to violently reprice this business. Thank you for your patience, we've made it through the other end of winter.

Unfortunately not many devs are like this anymore. Even though I don't come on here and shill tokens often, I really believe that $OCCAM will do crazy Xs Other than the project itself, I mainly like to invest in the founders, @useOccam will perform its only a matter of time
Been an absolutely brutal month as a founder - but pretty much through it now with a loaddd of light at the end of the tunnel Time to send this back - v much appreciate the patience over these last few weeks especially 🫶

Occam - Status: I'm going to be completely open here with everything and open the hood on internal information to give you the complete picture. The end result should return a long & successful outcome for Occam with excitement, sufficient runway & delivery of market-shifting features that deliver positive outcomes to users both on the platform and holders of the token. That is all that matters, being able to see that out. That is what this entire plan is focussed around. 1. You deserve that after the patience given 2. This will help paint out exactly how this plan is going to work. So firstly; runway & funding. We raised a substantial amount from IRL contacts, family offices and onchain relationships i've been close with for years & years now. Some aren't with us anymore, complete respect to them. Some are with us, offering more funding. Equal respect to them. Much of this funding went towards development, agencies & computational costs, since Jan 2025. It is now almost 2027. It is important to note, development costs before AI really made its mark in Oct '25 was high, very high. Much of our foundations were built back then. Written line-by-line... which sounds wild to me now. Even just a year on. I have not taken a single dollar of pay or profit, ever, so far during Occam's run. This is actually a bearish thing Of course this is selfishly speaking, but typically you want a founder / team to be paid & reflected for their work so motivation & output continues to improve. However, in this case - I am unfortunately addicted to solving this problem of automated profitability... I have been at forms of this for the vast majority of my adult years which unfortunately has been some time now. So, it isn't of too much concern to me as it stands today. That being said, I do want that to change, and it doesn't change unless Occam see's the heights, platform usage & MCAPs I set out for it to see. ————————— So, where is Occam at the moment? Since 12months ago, our monthly outgoings are reduced by over 90% Since going live a few months ago our monthly outgoings are reduced by 70% Why do I mention this? The past 4 weeks have been slow to say the least. But honestly, one of the most important time periods in Occam's existence. Our hosting, AWS became unaffordable and we weren't able to keep up with our data provider for all of our metrics which essentially was the heart platform. During this time period, I have essentially been migrating everything over in a format that is 1:1 with the previous offering, to a new, more affordable hosting that we can scale with properly but without breaking the bank. In doing so, I cut the costs here 80%. In terms of our data provider for metrics, I have since been rewriting 100s of metrics & data points myself internally, so we have no point of default and can rely on ourselves rather than others whilst being able to be much more flexible in provision. Without trying to pat myself on the back, both of these tasks are no small feat. Especially the metrics/data task, it is an entire business model in itself. So... where does that leave us? 1. It leaves us with sustainable hosting that is affordable without issues to our scale that allows us to continue building our many many terabytes onto, without having to worry about blackouts or anything worse. 2. It requires time for me to complete this metric rewrite, I have been at it for some time now and am at the final stages. This is imperative. I won't rush this one, quality takes time. Ensuring everything is at the exact same cadence as before so it slips straight onto the platform without any changes/difference in your algorithms or needing any user action. 3. In doing so, costs are further reduced - runway is safer. Flexibility is better. Newly launched tokens? Sub 40k? Utility only? I can do it. To face the music, these issues were potentially make or break for Occam in terms of costs. We've been at this for far too long now to fall short. Nothing else - feature wise or marketing even for that matter - mattered, until this was completed. I'm close enough & sure enough of it's feasibility to run through it all now with you to say that this chapter of uneventful features & product updates is moreorless coming to the finish line. It's been some of the most fucking hard & tedious work i've done. But also, the most important. ————————— So.. what's next! Firstly, please give me till the end of the week, to do the following: - Restore all old user profiles 1:1 - Replace all existing metrics with the internally built & designed ones exactly as they were, no changes or backfilling etc required to the user. - Restore algorithm simulator From there, we are exploring various offers of funding offers we've had. If I did take them, there would be: - No dilution or token emissions - No fee share It would come from my personal future profit take. It would go towards, primarily: - Marketing - Marketing - Marketing - Marketing Product feature wise after the roll out of the above, there is absolute priority on: - Robinhood - AnchorMode - API program to internal database - Marketing Marketing. Marketing. Marketing. I want to get on with this so badly. I hope you can understand why the above issues were necesarry to solve before proceeding with the above 4. To speak candidly, so the message is absolutely clear. There would be no Occam if these weren't done, thus nowhere to deliver these features. But now, we're in the seat of: a) having much less external risk as a company b) significantly improved costs c) absolute internal ownership & flexibility of data d) funding offers e) firework features & marketing around the corner app.occam.co + $OCCAM forever Healthier cashflow, ability to flourish, marketing Looking forward to being much more active on X with all everything upcoming Time to send it back.

Also the biggest one I left out I think we're near 100% now with simulator accuracy to live results since the date of rolling the new changes out Robinhood also progressing very well Won't be long at all before SOL PNLs are flying constantly, clogging the chat Except 2 differences 1) profitability will be much more consistent 2) this time with Robinhood PNLs too Closing in on being able to go nuts with this, a load of grunt work will be 100% worth it Position accordingly

Disgustingly large 7 days, another disgustingly large 7 days coming up. Gunna cover 3 things here: v2 Metrics Status Robinhood Personal Note & Commitment ———- v2 Metrics - I certainly understated the size of this task. But, the vast majority of the long stuff is done. Where we're currently at: - 100+ v2 metrics are currently live and being ingested - All of which containing health tags - Health tags update live and inform users on their status to communicate better around their performance in delivering information - We now ingest data in real-time, on every single trading event. Instead of in longer time buckets (1min+) - The algorithm simulator now too correlates 1:1, backtesting data in real-time on every single trading event, before it would be at different time buckets or drift in time delay causing inaccurate results. Solved. - In the process of matching up old metric names to be 1:1 with how they are now on v2. The new ones are named to be much more understandable. Issue: When using the algorithm simulator on longer time frames with v2, you may see inaccuracies. I am doing my absolute best and trying various different methods to patch up historical data to match 1:1 with the current, but it is proving to be near-impossible to provide the 100% accuracy we're looking for, as it stands, i'd say it's at 50% if you used timeframes from back in August. As of September 2nd Onwards - it should be over +99% accurate to what you see and what you receive.. I'll keep you posted on success in historical dates, but please take this into account. I will place a notice on the algorithm simulator page. There were user complaints about most metrics being 'quality related' and little/if any, being time related. I am looking to have these ingesting and live on the platform by the end of today. - Average Position Size - Average Position Size (Humans) - Average Position Size (Bots) - Human Trader Patience - Profitable Human Share - Profit Concentration - Human Money Velocity - Market Cap - Market Cap Change (10m) - Net Buy Volume - Price (SOL) - Total Supply - Token Decimals - Launch Liquidity - Highest Price Seen - Net Sell Volume - Market Cap at 15m / 30m / 45m / 60m - Net Buy Volume at 15m / 30m / 45m / 60m - Net Sell Volume at 15m / 30m / 45m / 60m These should allow you to determine well with lots of selection on the type of timing you'd like your algorithm to be signalling. Ingestion would probably begin here on 4th September, take that into account for the algorithm simulator. I'll note that too on the platform so it's clear. Please over the next few days expect a few the odd hiccup & discrepencacy here and there. I'm aware of all of them and acting on all of them. ———- Robinhood: Simply put - the market is going wild there, nobody has even attempted to provide fully automated trading there yet. The opportunity is amazing. It felt wasted to not continue in rolling the ball there, there is a ton of volume & eyeballs. I've continued on with Robinhood development whilst tackling v2 work. Completed: - Wallet sign-in - Visual algorithm builder using the live signals - Backtesting against real historical chain data - Publish an algorithm to a marketplace - Browse published algorithms - Token pages with live price charts and historical candles - AutoTrader Terminal - Public signal-health page showing which metrics are trustworthy - 48 metrics, live & ingesting as of today, 4th September. What remains: - Live trading - Algorithm pages - Remaining metrics (want to launch at 75+) I recognize the rush here & impact this would have in launching ASAP. To speak candidly, there is a shit ton of money & eyeballs on the table here, no promises but I shall try get this out at some point later next week. ———- Finally to face things head on - I think this v2 release is the first time we've seen eyebrows raised from the community, almost unanimously. Firstly, to be absolutely clear - this update is a MUST for Occam to scale properly. Simply put, old data was too inconsistent and dirty. No chance of scaling to 1000+ daily concurrent users with that. I'm not building Occam to stay at 50+ daily users or even 250+. The addressable market and usecases here are so much larger. If it means a turbulent week in order to lift the covers on what we can achieve, then i'd do it 100x over. Under fire of criticism or not. I have put the best part of 2 years now into Occam, with 5 years of solely building automated trading solutions in specifically onchain crypto markets. And over 10+ years of building and deliver crypto related software programs around markets, data & trading. Occam has now seen over 7figs of spend. For those that have seen how i've worked before, you'll know this - but for those that haven't - i'm nowhere near happy sitting at prices these levels, and i'll work my ass off to ensure we're nowhere near these price levels, as soon as possible. I love building, but my favourite thing is growth & marketing related stuff. I'm itching to get to that. Step forward every day, hit me with any and all criticism, feedback, questions whenever you want. I'll always respond. If I don't, i'm acting on them and building out solutions. Alright that's enough yapping Back to work - lots to do as always!

We released v2 metrics last night which should give the platform some much needed: > consistency > reliability Community & holders were patient, I believe is probably the final 'foundational' update needed Allows us to now get to the flashy features that can grow us vertically Very excited to start marketing a platform like this and bringing eyeballs and being solely focussed on growth related items, that's my favourite thing to do Tying up the edges for this v2 release today then I think it may be helpful to release our 'vertical roadmap & plan of attack + timings' so everything is up to speed on the weeks ahead?
