aster-2:native.
$0.81 was resistance.
Now the psychological target is $1.
Iβve said this for months: it is not if, it is when.
But understand something before this move really gets going.
$ASTER is not going to trade in lockstep with every other VC-backed project on your timeline. Stop expecting it to.
This is building its own market.
Its own liquidity.
Its own users.
Its own volume.
Its own ecosystem.
Its own demand.
And while much of the market is red, $ASTER is moving independently.
That speaks volumes.
The part I think people are still dramatically underestimating is the flywheel underneath the token.
More users β more volume β more fees β more value flowing through the ecosystem β deeper liquidity β more users.
As volume scales, the tokenomics become increasingly powerful.
This is not some stagnant protocol waiting for a narrative to save it.
It is a machine being deployed in real time.
I spend most of my life investing in AI, energy and emerging technology. I did not come back to Crypto Twitter to spend my days bull-posting random tokens.
I came back because I believe we are approaching one of the largest changes in financial infrastructure of our generation.
Tokenized equities.
Tokenized private assets.
24/7 markets.
Stablecoin settlement.
Onchain derivatives.
Global permissionless liquidity.
If you could see the amount of capital being raised behind closed doors to build tokenization infrastructure, you would understand why I am paying so much attention to DEXs.
The question is not whether assets move onchain.
The question is who owns the rails when they do.
That is the bet.
I believe in CZ.
I believe in YZi Labs.
I believe in Leonard and the Aster team.
More importantly, I believe I understand where the demand and capital are going.
@Aster_DEX already has the product, the distribution, the liquidity engine, the tokenholder alignment and the infrastructure to participate in that future.
That is why this has become much bigger than a trade for me.
$0.81 was a level.
$1 is a psychological milestone.
Neither is the thesis.
The thesis is what happens when the rest of the market finally understands what is being built.
$ASTER is waking up.
And I still think we are early.

[Tokenomics Update] $ASTER Buyback and Burn Steps Up to 198%
Aster is upgrading its buyback so the platform's own activity both rewards stakers and sets $ASTER on a deflationary path.
Starting from 12:00 PM UTC today, 99% of Aster's daily platform fees buy back $ASTER. An equal amount of $ASTER is burned from reserve, matching the buyback one for one.
The bought-back $ASTER goes to stakers. Each epoch it is added to Loyalty Rewards (300K $ASTER base, plus the buyback amount), distributed to veASTER by lock weight.
The burn takes team allocation first. $ASTER launched with a total supply of 8,000,000,000. The burn continues until total supply reaches 3,000,000,000.
Buybacks run automatically via TWAP across each day and settle on-chain. The buyback and the burn are both public and verifiable:
- Buyback wallet: 0xa0edBaBcb48034e368de286b49F9603C7AfA1b60
Every permissionless listing on Aster Spot pays a 50,000 USDT fee, used to buy back $ASTER as extra staking rewards.
