you know you’ve made it when you get so many twitter notifications that you have to put your phone on do not disturb while teaching
im sure people have said this before but honestly da2 doesn’t even register as a “player-sexual” game to me because the romanceable companions are the four most bisexual people ive ever seen
and sebastian doesn’t even count he’s barely a romance
saying anything positive about veilguard and getting a bunch of completely unprompted responses of people hating on the game
veilguard might not let you be mean to people but it’s the only dragon age game where you can kill all of your companions and send yourself into fade hell with an ancient god and i think that’s beautiful
EVEN @MerriamWebster SUPPORTS BIOWARE!!!!!!!! THIS ONE IS FOR COLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the save mass effect movement is so bittersweet to me, because of course i love seeing so many people come together and grieve for a game we all love and hope for a future for it… but god i wish dragon age was getting the same love and support, it’s an equally incredible series

reposting this older edit because i truly dont think any series has stuck with me in the same profound way dragon age has. ill cherish the memories forever and always mourn what couldve been.

i explained this to my students and they saw my vision. they got what i was saying
i’ve had a hc that wren hawke has a hawk tattoo but u know what? she has a tattoo of the roundest wren you’ve ever seen. she has the chubbiest goofiest looking wren right on her forearm. champion of kirkwall with a globular bird on her arm
during a casual discussion with my students i was like “oh yeah the number of vietnam deaths probably goes way up once you factor in agent orange. my grandpa died from cancer possibly from agent orange” and then i immediately thought ‘why in the fuck did i just say that’

Everyone meet Roxy (current name), our new female wolfdog ambassador joining us at Alveus soon 🐺💚
We’ve been working on getting a companion for Akela and now Roxy will be joining us next week from a sanctuary in California! She is about 5 months old (born on May 1, 2026).
Roxy will help us raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, the historic persecution of wolves by humans, and the critical role wolves play in their ecosystems.
the gift was ours to borrow. it’s as if we always knew, and i won’t forget what i did for love
love is never gone; as we travel on, love’s what we’ll remember.
won’t forget, can’t regret what i did for love
