Oregon destroyed a 100-year-old conference just to become Illinois’ bitch. Fucking legendary.

ICYMI: Oregon State men's basketball head coach Justin Joyner is heading into his first season with the Beavers with some important advice he got from former Michigan men's basketball head coach Dusty May.
Advice that showed itself in the Beavers' 89-76 exhibition win over Cal:

It is October 25. Oregon State was on five AP Poll ballots. Oregon wasn't on any.

I feel like I woke up in a strange alternate reality in which Oregon was left behind and Oregon State moved on to a power conference
Ducks writers are now heralding a potential hiring of Jonathan Smith as OC as their season crumbles
I know of a fairly young (47 year old) former offensive coordinator at the FBS level who had success that is currently unemployed and familiar with the state of Oregon.
He also knows how to coach QBs.
Would it be weird to see him on the Oregon sidelines? Yes, but the most important question is would he be a solution for at least the rest of this season?
He would certainly be better than what we have seen so far.

Would be surprised if Oregon State snuck into the expanded NCAA Tournament field? No, I would not. Beavers are legit talented and deep. Deshawn Gory is such a versatile player. Frietag is a big time scorer. Xavier Staton was a former big recruit at BYU. Josiah Lake is reliable.
