Any teacher who has moved to online learning and struggling to create a lesson, contact me and I can help put together some instruction. I am currently a curriculum developer for online and blended learning. See my bio for my specialties. #SpreadTheWord #teachershelpingteachers
All online content should be like this!!
What do you mean no one wants to buy my left over teacher supplies?! The 6rolls of tickets and teacher themed bags and baskets should sell for top dollar! 🤣
I wonder if life coaches actually have their own life together. I would love the advice but do any of us really know what we are doing??
Someone asked today what I wanted for a career...answer: completely building a SS curriculum for a blended learning school from scratch while successfully running a dog rescue shelter. That's reasonable right?! Haha #alwaysadreamer #wishfulthinking
Probably the two things I miss the most about being a teacher is having the worst day and seeing the kids just soaking up a lesson with excitement and then the next breath they are up dancing and being ridiculous. It was really hard to keep a straight face sometimes!!
Gun safety legislation is one piece of ending senseless violence. Eliminating mental health stigmas and expanding access to affordable healthcare is another that is often left out. We have a long way to go.
Or if you are under 30 living in a one-story house that has kitchen, office, bedroom, and travel advil and tums... I used to have this for chapstick but they were lost in some black hole in the house

I just want time on the weekends to go slower and the office to come back on netflix. Is that too much to ask?
Coming up with a review game idea from scratch is always challenging but fun. Playing press your luck with the pod girls has me inspired! Where to start...hmmm
Just a thought: forcing standardized testing this year is a ploy by noneducator policy makers to say we should've gone back to the classroom sooner to stop "learning loss". Instead we should be looking at the inherent inequities and bias that the test perpetuates year after year.
Today I had to fix a "check my work" link (similar to turn it in) so I uploaded a doc with a bunch of dad jokes. I hope the student sees the test doc and gets a little happiness out of the day. #itsthelittlethings
Teachers should be vaccinated to get back to school. I hope districts are including bus drivers, cafeteria staff, and all other building staff. Everyone wants to get back but with smart and safe guidelines. There isn't room for "lessons learned" when those lessons lead to deaths.
Getting ready for today's tutoring session!! Building spines and brain hats!! I'm just as excited as the ladies!
One thing I've learned about teaching enrichment to a group of girls is that they are learning, without formal assessments. They ask questions, find connections, and enjoy learning. If only I came to that realization while teaching in a classroom! #allstudentslearndifferently
