An elder fellow, on this river this morning, gave me this fly. It would be a great pattern done in black & sized down to a #16/18 to match the constant hatches of Chimarra on the river lately. Got to get back on the vice soon.

Need advice for bleaching peacock herl. I use 1:1 bleach/water soaked 90 sec, agitate 90 sec, then rinse 2 min. Nice clean herl but fragile when dry. How do I make them supple again? I'd appreciate any advice. Thnx in advance!
