For being an American Protestant, why do I have such a vested interest in the history of both the Monarchy and the Papacy?

Anyone else in the #writingcommunity abandon a WIP not because of any obstacles, but simply because you thought of a totally new idea and just had to start writing? Only for it to turn into a never ending cycle of unfinished WIPs?

I don't mean to be dramatic, but if I ask for an Excel file and you proceed to send a screenshot of the spreadsheet and insert it into the body of your return email you are the worst type of person.

I feel like there is a small group of us Elder Millenials that were absolutely traumatized by Don Bluth in the 80s.

There is a house right down the street I drive past every day with a "Let It Snow" lawn display comprised of each individual letter stuck into the ground. I have to resist the temptation to rearrange Every. Single. Time.

Hey #WritingCommmunity with a full-time job, family, and other post-work obligations. What time have you found works best for writing/editing? I'm struggling to find more than a couple hours a week, mostly weekends. Any other time I'm simply too mentally exhausted.

2 years sober today. Some days are definitely harder than others, especially during the holidays with parties, vacations, stress, missing loved ones, etc. But I'm thankful for the support system I have in all the different parts of my life. #sobriety #soberliving

Dentist numbed me all up in prep to fix a broken filling, only to review the x-ray and decide I should get a root canal instead. So now I can't feel half my face for no reason at all and have to go through the battle of finding an edodontist who accepts my insurance.

Finally got around to watch #Endurance on @NatGeo about the Shackleton Expedition and finding the sunken wreck. Man was it an emotional roller-coaster for a history dork like me.

Last night my 16 y.o. got inducted into the National Honor Society, today she went to her first job interview that she prompted and scheduled herself. So we're doing something right. #parenting

I think I've reached my capacity. Full time job, husband/dad, caring for a live-in handicapped inlaw, interim Pastor, Masonic Lodge District leader, all while trying to increase my attention to my writing/getting published, and maintain my sobriety.

When I publish my first novel I should probably dust off my original account with my real name. Otherwise it'll probably be a little inconsistent, disjointed and possibly set a precedent that'll wind up biting me in the backend with the marketing of future publications.
