Chauncey Golston and Dorance Armstrong having more games as Cowboys than Micah is gross

Full list of the 15 players that have played more than 44 and the list of players who haven’t. Stathead doesn’t count for players who don’t appear on this list that have never taken a snap—players cut after training camp, practice squad, etc.
Aikman forever
Wow

The image falsely claims ESPN executives criticized Troy Aikman for not promoting Pat McAfee's album with invented quotes; no credible reports support this. The quoted NY Post article covers an unrelated contract dispute between Aikman and Joe Buck.

49ers thinking Osa is killing it so far are in for a pleasant surprise, because it’s very likely based on his age and track record that he will be better

YES!
This is a great take on the subject!
We talked about this on the show a few weeks back.
You can't just treat it like poker or blackjack, cos you don't necessarily get the time for the math to work in your favor.
What's that line, the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent? Same idea.
You want the information; you don't want to go with the edge lean every single time just cos it says 51%.
Kyle Shanahan says a 51% analytics recommendation won’t convince him to go for it because he gets one shot, not an hour at a blackjack table
“I don’t want to hear about it if it’s 51% of the time we should go for it.”
“As I always say, I’m not sitting here playing Blackjack for an hour with no one else at the table, and eventually I’ll get 51% of it. Like, I have this one try, and I have a feel for it. I’ve been doing it too long.”
“But what I want to know from him, when it’s not a feel, when it, no, this is 98%. We don’t even need to talk about it. So we don’t need to talk about it. Tell me when it’s that, and I’ll just do it.”
49 overall PFF grade, 37 in run defense, 66 pass rush. All worst since his rookie year. People love a narrative whether it's true or not.

Watching the @dallascowboys struggle two weeks in a row reminded me of why we as a Jets offense were terrible in back to back afc championship games in '09' and '10'....mid OC by the name of Brian Schottenheimer.

Coaching is awful.
Why has the #DallasCowboys star-studded offense gone silent under Brian Schottenheimer in 2026? Here is a look at the schematic changes from 2025 to 2026 that have Dallas’ attack scuffling the last two weeks. My latest for CBS Sports:

Wild to compare Dak and Caleb Williams' average depth of target vs ypa yesterday. For the game Caleb had 3.3 adot and 8.5 ypa. Dak had a 6.8 adot and 4.8 ypa. On screens specifically, both had a -4 adot, but Dak had 0.3 ypa whereas Caleb had 6.5.
Playcalling matters.

Then the longest pass in NFL postseason history

And a pick six immediately after this. You’re welcome #CowboysNation

These broadcasts are abysmal about replays. There’s been probably 4 plays I wanted to see whether it’s a drop or a bad pass, not a single replay
Give it time. He still thinks they have a chance this year

Could Pat McAfee unseat Dennis Miller for worst color commentator of all time? Would make JJ Watt look like John Madden
Troy Aikman confirmed today he plans to leave ESPN after the Super Bowl 61 broadcast with Joe Buck.
Aikman and Buck had been partners on calls for 25 consecutive seasons.
There is significant buzz building that ESPN could be replacing Aikman with Pat McAfee in 2027.

Troy Aikman said he will be a free agent after this season but did not confirm plans to leave ESPN. McAfee has denied any conversations about replacing him in the MNF booth.

I need Jerry to take the same energy that led him to go to war with the league over Zeke’s suspension and channel that into bringing the greatest defensive mind in the game
