For some time now, we see a steady advance of far-right, nationalist and 'anti-woke' voices that challenge diversity and inclusion.

At the 1st plenary session of the new @Europarl_EN, I discussed with MEP @Evelyn_Regner our achievements in building a #UnionOfEquality during this @EU_Commission mandate. We spoke about the importance of maintaining our efforts to ensure effective implementation of equality laws

Instead of increasing, the percentage of women MEPs in the new mandate of the Parliament has decreased from 40% to 39%... Much work still to be done to ensure inclusive EU debates!
