Let me explain:
Bioware didn't die because it went "woke", It went woke and then died.
Just like someone didn't ruin their life because they became a drug addict, the became an drug addict and then ruined their life. There are people who become drug addicts and manage to hold their life together however very seldom does that happen. It is the common instance that they will ruin their life to some capacity.
When a Developer goes woke, they can still make good games people enjoy but it's all to common that they don't. This is because rather than being woke and continuing to make games as before, they decide to use their game to puss their ideology and preach at the player. They begin to see the parts of a game people often enjoy (like aggression, challenge, a grounded tone) to be something that alienates their target audience. The problem is their target audience generally doesn't play video games and the people who do play video games are now the ones being alienated.
This creates a pattern where rather than listening to the people who play video game, they tell them to "do better" or whatever and that they are the problem. Then they someone how expect that to work and their target audience to be happy.
Unfortunately for them their target audience is simply way smaller than they understand or simply don't care about games so they fail to push enough copies while still spending hundreds of millions of dollars, losing tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars because they refuse to pivot from pushing their ideology and run their business into the ground. They are capable of not doing this and few have but most do.
Now you understand a company doesn't die because it went woke, it died because to offten people who go woke feel they have a much larger audience they can sell to that doesn't actually exist while they give a big middle finger to their actual massive audience that was already there waiting to buy video games.

Also fact: Bioware couldn't make money
Third fact: Bioware makes money from selling games.
