Me and @duball97 are building Cadding, a CAD tool for 3D printing that runs in the browser.
Traditional CAD is powerful, but for a quick phone stand, cable clip or bracket it's a lot of setup.
So in Cadding you describe a part in plain text, get a model you can actually edit, fix what's off with manual tools, and export an STL or 3MF. Or build from scratch.
We launch publicly on November. Until then I'll post what we're building: features, tactics and the issues we hit 馃

it has been really fun to build Cadding
it started a few months ago when i got a 3d printer
there are a lot of models.
but for me the coolest part of printing is seeing things you do getting to life
i tried a lot of different cad software. but i hate hard to use programs
where i need to learn everything and can build zero without so many tutorials. there has to be a better way
so i have been building a solution to make hardware easy to build
browser based. easy commands. ai to assist
everything i have been building and want to build will be done with my app
many times i have been trying to do stuff and there is no way there, so i just have to code a solution
