One accomplishment from today: encountered a non-working dry erase marker in a conference room and THREW IT AWAY.

If you notice something at your company below standards and don't fix it or make sure someone else does, you have set a new standard. Complaining about it does not count as fixing it. If someone gets upset/tells you to stay in your lane, they've set an even worse new standard.

Trivia for the day: Did you know @linode lives in the Real World Philadelphia house? They bought it in late 2015 and have been beautifully renovating it. Check out photos: technical.ly/philly/2015/12/… #philadelphia #Linuxcompanysuccessstory

Most of the staff of this South Jersey-founded hosting company is still working down the shore. But its founder Chris Aker is making a big bet on Philadelphia.

April Fool's Day. A day when people pause to think if that thing they read on the internet is true or not. A skill sorely lacking during the other 364 days of the year.
