Louisville’s Obinna Ekezie Jr looked fantastic coming off the bench at Kansas Obinna had 16 points, 8 rebounds, 5 blocks and went 4-6 from 3, playing just 19 minutes The 7-2, 240 freshman from Nigeria stood out defensively, was all over the place defensively, running the floor, contesting shots and using his freakish 7-5 wingspan The 18-year old had reclassed up to the 2026 class after a strong season at Southeastern Prep, immediately showcasing his NBA upside for the Cardinals.

Todays Top Underclassmen is Mr. Gabriel Vetter out of Calvary Christian! The freshman quarterback is playing well beyond his years and looks like he is ready to lead Calvary into the playoffs and beyond for three more seasons. The 🎥 shows poise and movement in the pocket for the 2030 graduate and the stats show as well as he is 66/118 for 1155 yds and 8 tds/4ints in 6 games this season with an over 100 qb rating in two of those! Calvary's passing game is locked and loaded!

I’m in year 11. I’ve only been “paid” for 6 of those. My first 5 years, I coached for free. So when I see 1st-year coaches complaining about not getting paid, I can’t help but think about where this profession started for a lot of us, purely passion and wanting to learn!
