Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall send? And who will go for us?' And I said, " Here am I. Send me!

Today is the 60th anniversary of the release date of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we returned to the days when it was aired on basic television where we could all watch together as a nation? Back when we weren’t so divided. Back where we were cohesive Americans and not hyphenated- Americans.
Yet again this coming Saturday on Halloween evening we’ll play this and keep our own tradition going.
One of our Halloween traditions is to play “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!” In our window the neighborhood kids (especially the little ones) usually end up sitting in our front lawn and watch. But this year I’m contemplating playing The Nightmare Before Christmas. Not sure if I should go with the old classic or the new classic

I never thought I’d look good as a blonde. I’m rather partial to my combination of dark hair and light eyes. But I just heard about people dying their hair to match their skin tone. Being the curious individual that I am I thought I’d test a picture to see how I’d look if I were to ever do it myself. Surprisingly enough I like it.

My guess is that women from the south won’t be offended but the women from the north will be. This is similar to the use of the term ma’am. I never hear of it offending southern women. It’s a part of our vernacular. Northern women take it as an insult.
What a wonderful last couple of days. Spent time with my daughter, my future son in law, in laws to be and multiple brides maids and friends celebrating my daughter's upcoming wedding. Started the day with a last minute walk through of the venue and closed out the night with a bridal soirée.
Liberal UGA is showing Jackson in a dead heat with Bottoms? That doesn’t sound good for Keisha Bottoms. Even liberal leaning Athens isn’t on board with her.

Smells like desperation to me. And let’s get real here no matter how bad a choice Keisha Lance Bottoms and Jon Ossoff are the people out there who worship Obama as if he were the actual second coming would vote for a rock if that’s what Obama told them to do.
Former President Barack Obama is heading to Atlanta to join U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff and gubernatorial candidate Keisha Lance Bottoms for a Democratic campaign rally ahead of the midterm election. fox5atlanta.com/news/former-…
I truthfully haven’t been in a church in years. But North Point for many years was my church. I volunteered in their “wambaland” (their daycare) for the early service before attending service with Andy Stanley myself at a later time. I had joined several small groups and both my children attended Sunday School and Upstreet. Both my children were baptized at North Point. We would on many occasions stop in at our local Starbucks on a Saturday morning just to run into Andy Stanley as he was also in line waiting on his caffeine fix for the day. Those years I didn’t see an issue with his preaching and teaching. North Point was what I and my family needed at the time. My how things have changed. I hope for the sake of the town North Point can return to following Christ and not the world. As for me I now crave a smaller church.
On October 18, 2026, I shared an update regarding my future and the future of our network of churches.

If European heritage doesn't interest you that much, maybe fuck off to Palestine.

The time is fast approaching for the day of Wreaths Across America. If you have it in your heart to donate a wreath for the cause please click on the QR code in the picture to do so. And by all means if you’re able to participate in the laying of wreaths on the day of please do not let the opportunity pass you by.
(Every year my DAR chapter happily participates in Wreaths Across America.
We sponsor 11 separate local cemeteries.
Taking the time to map out and mark each cemetery with American flags to identify where our veterans are buried. Allowing volunteers on the day of Wreaths Across America to easily locate the graves to lay their wreaths on.)
