"I’m a woman, I’m young, I’m Muslim, I’m left-wing. When people attack me, it’s usually for one – or all – of those reasons." I spoke to @ElleUK about dealing with racism and abuse – and how I won't let that stop me from fighting for social justice: elle.com/uk/news-politics/a6…

Over half of Black children, and 47% of Asian children are living in poverty. Utterly shocking in 2024 Britain, and inexcusable. This is a political choice.
BREAKING Child poverty has risen *again*. 4.3 million children are living in poverty. In a general election year, nothing should be more important to our political leaders than making things better for the country’s poorest kids.

Yep, I've written tens of thousands of words based on my own quant and qual research demonstrating that most most universities are not 'fairly effective' at dealing with predatory behaviour by staff.

Here’s how #single people are flourishing, and how deficit narratives still prevail. I have been building up to this article since I first started taking notes on singlehood in 1992. tinyurl.com/mszhdxbs
