Host: Why are you here this morning?
Trump rally attendee: In the '70s I was too young to get go to South America for the Jonestown massacre, so this is as close as I'll get. There's nothing like seeing a cult up close.
Host: Alright, maybe this is not a Trump supporter
What a moment for White.
Larraz was looking great tonight, too. He almost scored a screamer that hit the crossbar hard from distance, and set up this perfect ball for a header too. His tracking back deserves mention as well.
HISTORY MAKER
A terrific cross from Oliver Larraz finds Brian White, and the main man for #VWFC scores his 100th goal in Major League Soccer!
2-0 Vancouver 🤍💙

some guy called me stupid and said strong men create good times, and good times create soy men who create bad times. i went to his page and saw he created a sexy french female voice for his chatgpt, which he's apparently fallen in love with and is now flirting with "her."
Even if you show up 1 hour before your flight and it's never delayed, that's probably 12-16 hours/week minimum. I guess if you're studying on the bus/at the airport it's not that bad but still a crazy waste of time.
Vancouver rent was so expensive that university student Tim Chen found it cheaper to fly to class twice a week.
In February 2024, UBC student Tim Chen explained that renting a one-bedroom would cost him roughly C$2,500 a month.
Instead, he lived rent-free with his parents in Calgary, and commuted by plane.
He only needed to attend campus two days a week. Each round trip cost around C$150, bringing his monthly flight bill to roughly C$1,200.
His routine: fly to Vancouver in the morning, attend class, take the bus back to the airport and fly home that night.
Eight return trips a month still cost less than half the rent he’d been quoted.

Been thinking this for a while. At this point there is no reason at least the iPad Pro doesn't run Mac apps.

Obama on backlash about his Cheesecake Factory joke:
First of all, let me get this on the record. I am the father of two daughters. I lived at Chuck E. Cheese, and California Pizza Kitchen, and the Cheesecake Factory. That was my jam for about a decade. Of course, the real problem is prices have gotten so high, folks can barely afford to go out to eat. You would think that this administration would be spending time worrying about that.

Obama is all out of fucks tonight. The fact that he double downed on everything that made MAGA’s head spin and went even further tonight is glorious.
Oilers beat the Flames 4-0 and Whitecaps up on San Dieo 4-0. Good sports night for ex-Edmontonians in Vancouver... Black Frog pub gotta be jumping for a Wednesday.

Obama tonight on his Cheesecake Factory line: "They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke. The White House even called the Secretary of the Treasury. This is the man who is in charge of the economy. The person who's supposed to be figuring out how to make your life more affordable. The guy who's supposed to be figuring out how to lower inflation. And reduce interest rates. They told him he should hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory."
This was hard to watch no matter who you support
