There are a few things that seem to be emerging as a new, bipartisan consensus among the people.
1. The political class is too old.
2. Tech overlords have too much power.
3. The Epstein class is real
To these, I would like to add:
4. The presidency has become too powerful.
Right on time after the midterms. Israeli intelligence has discovered that Iran has plans to use WMDs.
Looks like they get their $4 billion now and Iran gets the MOAB or a tactical nuclear weapon.

Over a million people died when Israeli intelligence lied about Iraqi WMDs. Though it's generously interpreted as an "intelligence failure" here, if they were so disastrously wrong in creating a pretext for war in Iraq, they have no credibility on Iran.

In his first public appearance since his party suffered crushing electoral losses, Trump is at the site of the White House ballroom, talking about the marble he ordered for the floor.

The night before hearing, Taranto's atty files a jumbled supplement that is beyond my interest or ability to parse, but does say she checked his Rumble act & found no videos since Aug. I checked it, & found a stream in progress & 3 posted in last 12 hrs.

House Democrats had their best year since 2008, when they won 257 seats. They've won 250 so far, with a number of seats that are too close to call or subject to mandatory recounts.
Leading the way were at least 100 Democratic women, one of many milestones in this race.
Today, JD Vance is blaming these losses on the war in Iran, without any acknowledgement of whose war it was.
This is inconsistent with the things he said along the way, like back in March, when he promised a quick little war.

Trump has gone from threatening further attacks on Iran to now announcing he will not give Israel their allotment of taxpayer dollars this year.
Seems unlikely. More probable is Netanyahu reminding him he owns him and a resumption of "shock and awe."

When Republicans lose in gerrymandered districts they created, they will scream fraud, even though in their quest to maximize the number of reliably safe Republican districts they weakened many stronghold districts that never would have come into play otherwise.
Trump's hallucinating new lies about election interference because he's been told already to expect his party to be trounced in the midterms. If Democrats win a wave of 5 or more points nationwide, this will crack a number of Republican dummymanders.

The only advertisers Musk's Twitter has left are people peddling AI porn and companies hawking AI-generated slop to MAGA boomers.
Apparently Biden's age is still a problem for them in 2026.
Never had an advertiser on this platform block me before. They claim the designs are 100% human, claim their lack of an actual address is due to mental illness, but say noting about the claim that it's 100% made in China merchandise.
Pennsylvania officials caught a scheme involving 10 forged mail-in ballot applications submitted by a woman from Idaho.
The best part? She was an independent contractor for Mobilize the Message, a conservative voter outreach operation founded by Republican strategist Cliff Maloney.
The system worked as designed. All 10 applications were flagged and rejected. No ballots were issued.
The irony? A Republican-aligned political operation caught up in an election-fraud investigation. Meanwhile, Scott Perry was already misrepresenting what actually happened.
Facts matter. Apparently, especially when Republicans are doing the explaining.

Like a lot of January 6’ers, a “Front Row Joe” from Trump rallies, is a child sex pervert.
NEW: A Brook Park restaurant owner has been indicted on 10 felony charges related to alleged possession of child sexual abuse material.
Adam Radogna is part of a group of Trump supporters who travel to rallies around the country.

One of the reasons why Wren was concocting nonsense about why Talarico was off the campaign trail was because she couldn't believe someone would be away for 13 days for the flu.
Vivek is dumping another $4 million into this quixotic and self destructive ad campaign while Trump endorses it.
This is taking what could have been merely a statewide blunder and nationalizing it. I can't believe anyone would do that, but here we are.

And of course @CarolineWren hasn't weighed in, and hasn't even mentioned Ramaswamy on her account since 2023.
Even Meghan McCain has condemned the ad. Not sure where Nancy Mace and the other Republican women who engage in bathroom politics are.
