This is in NJ. A state which was once the gold standard for consumer protection in regulated gambling.
However, ever since the state closed down much of the DGE, the operators are running amok. 😒
A user who had never shown any signs of problem gambling, had never touched the RG controls, had won a significant amount at this operator, is IMPOSED a punitive limit outside of their control.🤯
Keep in mind, this user had never touched the RG control panel of their account. They had no reason to, they beat Hard Rock at sports, and in the online casino.
