At the DallasMeetup Mixer today. If you're here, lets try and meet up in person! – at Plano, TX

Best conversation at the DallasMeetup mixer last night was about how fractional leadership roles actually get filled. Talked with someone who advises small and mid-size companies on governance, risk, compliance, and executive leadership solutions. Because of that work he meets a ton of people, and he regularly passes executives along for fractional and consulting gigs in areas he doesn't cover. If you're only watching job boards for that kind of work, you're missing part of the market. Go to the mixer! Also ran into an old colleague I hadn't seen in a while, which was a nice bonus.
