I ♥️ this photo for several reasons! 1. It shows the diversity of our students. 2. It demonstrates our love of literacy. 3. It showcases the beauty of our campus. Thank you @MrsVSalinas for posting last week! #MatzkeProud #CFISDspirit #PrincipalsInAction #JoyfulLeaders

My Ss and I really enjoyed all our AMAZING presenters for our Annual Career Day. I "Geeked-Out" when I met an actual FBI- Special Agent. I think I might want to change careers now and become Special Agent Salinas. 🤔 #MatzkeProud #MrsSalinaslovesthird #KidsDeserveIt #CareerDay

Listening to DEIC discuss current financial challenges facing ISDs. Mentions of budget cuts made in 2009-2011. The difference is that back then the State was in financial crisis. Today, the state has BILLIONS in surplus $$$. This isn’t a financial crisis, it’s a political one. 🗳️

One week ago today. We have the power to prevent a senseless tragedy like this from happening again. Doing nothing is not an option any longer.
